Lovely but not without it's problems (21 March 2017)
Equipment used: Kabuki tank. 1.6ohm Nautilus BVC coils. 9-16 watts.
I love this flavor. It really is a sterling e liquid. I get a nice amount of coffee on the inhale, but the exhale is where this liquid really shines for me. The hazlenuts really come to the fore, blended perfectly with the caramel undertones.
It's honestly a brilliant flavor, and of all the coffee liquids I've tried over the past year and a bit, this sits right at the top of the pile.
If you're yearning for the old days of Wake 'n' vape, pick this one up.
Now - On to the negatives. Unfortunately, this liquid is an absolute coil destroyer. The shortest amount of time a Nautilus BVC coil has lasted with this liquid is 3 hours. 3 HOURS! On average, I would say that with the Nautilus BVC coils, they would last me around 3 days with this juice, and can last over a week with other juices.
Another negative, for me, vaping MTL, was the 70VG blend. Even at 12mg there was next to zero throat hit, which meant that I would need to crank up the wattage to feel it on the throat. The trade off with doing that was that, being 70VG, and a slightly higher wattage, meant that the BVC coils struggled to wick the liquid properly.
If this liquid was a 50/50 or higher PG blend and contained slightly less sugar, it would easily be an ADV for me, but unfortunately, as much as I love the flavor, the trade-offs just aren't worth it.
