This used to be one of my top 5 juices, but for some reason it seems to have gone downhill. When it was sold in the 30ml glass bottles it was absolutely delicious. Really creamy and minty with a dash of chocolate. Since the regulations came in and they switched to plastic bottles it's really taken a turn for the worst. I don't know if they've changed the recipe, or the plastic has changed the taste, but it tastes almost bitter to me now. I've tried a few of the 10ml bottles now incase it was a bad batch, but they all tasted the same. Maybe they have dropped their quality ingredients as well as their price as it used to be more expensive.

After reading some of the 5 star reviews I thought I would give this flavour a go. I love choc mint so was excited to receive this vape. On inhale it has a strong mint flavour with a hint of chocolate on exhale. I personally can’t tast the vanilla but that’s only my opinion. I have found the mint is a bit overpowering and takes over from the chocolate exhale. It would be nice if it was more balanced. I think it’s more suited for vapers that like mint flavours. However, don’t get me wrong the chocolate is there, it’s smooth and authentic to taste just overpowered by the mint! I can’t vape this all day as it becomes a bit sickly for me but it’s ok for a change up! I think it will just come down to personal taste. Comes in lovely packaging but a bit overpriced. I think it comes down to personal preference. Authentic flavours just overpowered by the mint!

Usually a big fan of the Five Pawns range, especially Gambit and Black Flag. Had big expectations when ordering Bowdens Mate, but was left somewhat underwhelmed.
The mint flavour is definitely there but it is lacking a chocolate taste on the exhale. In summary it is just too bland to warrant the premium price tag that goes with it.
Don't get me wrong, it definitely "vape-able" but there are plenty other mild mint flavours out there that will do the job at a fraction of the cost.
Decidedly average.
