Wow..took me about 30 mins and a cup of coffee to fully appreciate this juice . Its not sweet exactly, just smooth and has a little sweetness to it. Also a little bitter and earthy. Hard to understand how it works so well. Initial flavours of liquor on the inhale and then subtle almond rolls on the tongue,giving way to coconut on the exhale. Delicious with a cuppa. Only negative being the price! I don't think any 10ml juice should cost more than 4 quid max.

I like this vape especially now it's getting colder
Very expensive but I'm going through vapers tongue 👅 at the moment and I am liking sugary vapes at the moment so thought I would give this a try (This doesn't taste like sweetners)
I used to like a coffee and a cigarette first thing in the morning and i crave this juice with a cheap mcdonalds toffee late
I like the vanillary sweet bourbon whisky taste, later ion n the week I've even added some of Doozy Muffin Delight juice to it for a cinnamon taste
This is a 50:50 juice 3mg with a fresh new coil using my basic easy to use cheap and cheeful compact novo5 pod at 18W
I brought 3mg as I wasn't sure if too much nicotine would ruin the juice
You will like this juice if you like a caramelised bown sugar sweet vape with an whisky hit, its not a dirty cigarette but I guess you could call it tobacco ish vape I would like to try the other Five Pawn Vapes

This is my second favourite of this range (first is Black Flag). It’s very gentle and vaping it on the Innokin Endura mtl with a 1.5 coil get a strong coconut flavour. I might switch to the 0.9 coils which aren’t such a tight draw to get more flavour although you certainly get through juice faster that way. All in all a nice vape typical of this high quality range.

After seven years of vaping this is still one of the best flavours ive tried. I dont buy it often as it doesnt come in 18 or 20 and its expensive. Really one of the very best flavours out there. Dont get why it only comes in 12mg.

I've been vaping Castle Long and/or Castle Long Reserve edition for 4 years now and here are my conclusions on the range:
- Castle Long is far superior to any of the other Five Pawns flavours, which in my opinion aren't even worth trying.
- Castle Long Reserve is an even more accurate and complex impression of the original flavour description.
- Castle Long used to taste more complex, but since a few years ago when they began mass producing and moving away from small batch production, I've found the complexity has been eroded.
- Regardless, this flavour is the absolute best, a morning, midday, evening and night vape. It doesn't burn up your coil instantly (like many sweeter flavours), has savoury notes perfectly balancing off the sweet ones, and delivers a different tasting note with each puff.
If you are looking to buy as a one-off, I would strongly recommend you get the Reserve edition, and then sit back and begin to comprehend how nice e-liquids could be if all manufacturers matured the liquids in barrels.
Five Pawns is to conventional e-liquid brands what the Macallan 1926 single malt is to Lidl own brand whisk(e)y.
Anyone who thinks otherwise has simply not allowed time for their palate to adjust to the range of tasting notes on offer with this liquid.

This is a fantastic liquid. It's such a refined, well-balanced flavour. An imaginative cocktail of flavours that blends together perfectly. Coconut, bourbon and almonds are all present and each captured expertly. It's very rich and has a strong, unmistakeable taste and smell. This is like a rare vintage of vape juices.

For me this is one of the best e liquids I’ve ever come across. It’s sweet, but not over powering, has many different layers to it and goes perfectly with a coffee. The main thing for me is that the five pawns liquids have that smooth inhale and don’t have any of the chemical type aftertaste. It’s my everyday juice along with Black Flag Risen Enriched.

I'm sure we all have our favourite, definitive, 'go to' juice and so far, (with none tobacco flavour based juices), this is definitely mine and I have been making my way through the catalogue.
I stumbled upon Castle Long whilst ploughing through many of the other excellent juices available from Vape Club and was using my Arc 5 mtl device back then.
It was SO delicious on my mtl that I decided to buy another 10ml bottle last week to check if it really was as awesome as I thought and have, today, tried it on my Sub ohm device and it is just as awesome.
I'm really not convinced any other juice can ever be as good as this one or ever will be.
1) It totally lives up to its description (Kentucky Bourbon, Coconut, Almond, Brown Sugar, and Vanilla Bean.) which many juices don't. It is exactly what it says on the tin in my opinion.
2) Lovely thick clouds.
3) Smooth as silk. Little or no throat hit at 3mg. Not sure if that's good or bad.
Not cheap but well worth the money.
This will be a regular order for me and I highly recommend.
NB: I have also sampled Symmetry and Black Flag Risen from Five Pawns range and they are also both exceptional juices. I have heard good things and read really good reviews about Bowden's Mate too so I am going to order a bottle of that one next.

I tried this for the 1st time and I have to say it is brilliant. When opening the bottle the smell was great and despite the first few draws being sorta weird tasting it has become one of my new favs. Will buy again.

This is by far my favorite juice of all time. Complex flavor as usual with 5 pawns but the thing that wins me is the amazing touch the hazelnut adds. The whole combination while in flavor terms nothing like smoking really reminds me of the day when I was and the sensation of the flavor from it.
Say what you want for 5 pawns but any 5 pawns flavor compared to even the best cheaper flavors out there VGOD flavors, Wick Boulevard and other popular mainstream ones...the difference is they just feel dull to the flavor profile of 5 pawns. So many flavors mix with 5 pawns juice that it kinda makes it hard to get tired of the flavor you like from them. Although, I will admit I dislike most of their flavors :-). For example, Black Flag Risen Enriched, great reviews all around, but I can't say I vape it with much joy, although the complexity of it does give me a certain sense of satisfaction.
Thing is with 5 Pawns, I think most people will find one or two of their flavors to be what they want and what they like. I have also noticed different people sense different things from their flavor. For example from Gambit I taste the apple once on every 200 puffs and other people swear they feel it all the time.
All in all, if I could afford it I would vape Castle Long all day long.

Beautiful product , beautiful packaging , not so keen on the price tag ..
Upon trying this liquid for the first time, I was expecting a strong concentrated vanilla taste,, I was soo wrong this liquid if beautiful especially at Christmas time. The super smooth and luxurious taste With big punches of flavour the instant hit of almond which tastes more like hazelnut for an added surprise. I do feel that this is like, A Coffee and almond cake with Ferro Roche on top . On its own without food or drink it is a savoury foodie delight . I have previously seen a comment in previous reviews on this product stating it goes with coffee.
Upon vaping this brilliant liquid with a cafe Nero latte it takes my mind back to a Paris coffee shop , nice memory seeing as I'm in sunny Suffolk and it was raining at the time

A complex flavour profile that blends brilliantly, no one flavour overpowers the other and they all enhance each other so well.
The packaging is very different; high quality and a lot of attention to detail has gone into the design.
Equally good mouth to lung on a regular atomiser, or direct to lung on sub-ohm, naturally the sub-ohm produces bigger flavour and immense clouds but still it's not harsh on the throat.
I'm only taking one star off because as nice as it is, and as attractive as the design is, for 30mls the price is too high.

I wont be filling my Griffin 25 with this, I think it would be too much, in many ways...
But as a mouth to lung on a Nautilus X at 1.5 Ohm, in the evening, with a good beer or a fine glass of red, it is perfect for me, as is their Black Flag Risen Enriched.

Am a fan of fruity/tropical flavours so got this as an alternative and to break the taste bud muting. When I first tried it I didn't like it. Was very dry and savoury. Then I steeped it and it came to life. The flavours blend really well and is very complex and 'adult'. Not too sweet but beautiful and almost indulgent. Love the odd hint of oak and bourbon that comes through. Lovely mature flavour.

This liquid is so good. easily the best i have ever tasted. ALL of the notes are there as per Five Pawns descriptor. Only downside is that it is so good that all other juices i have just don't compare. Definitely an all dayer for me. I particularly love the subtle burnt sugar undertone on the exhale: think of the top of a real creme Brulee. Amazing

Ever tried that baileys biscotti flavour that baileys brings out at crimbo? This is basically it! Smells and tastes just like it- which is fine with me :) That being said, it does have many other subtle flavours/after tastes within it. Bannana, maderia cake etc. Very nice, but not on your pocket. the lovely packaging makes me feel like a posh bird ;) think it may be my favourite :)

This juice has become one of my absolute favourites, it is so special.
Initially this is a predominantly coconut vape, but i can personally taste the oak/bourbon + vanilla as well.
On the inhale i get an oak/bourbon vanilla, and am greeted by the coconut on the exhale that stays in your mouth.
This juice is so complex and probably the best complex juice i have tried.
This juice really has all the flavour notes coming through seperately, and makes other complex juices seem amateur.
I cannot put this juice down!! I just keep coming back to it.
It is has a dry throat hit with its hint of smoky/oakey harshness to round off the body.
It is a must try!

Well this juice ticks every box. It's like fairy's dancing lightly on my taste buds. You get the creaminess and bourbon on inhale and when you exhale a very beautiful nutty note.
