I see this is not for everyone but i like it. You get a nice hit from both the tobacco and the bourbon it might not be to everyone’s taste but still a very good effort

Not for me (03 July 2025)

I used to vape the whiskey and lime Firewater but it wasn't available when I bought this. However, I did vape this one from time to time several years ago. It was not as good as i remember, in fact I didn't really care for it. Had no pronounced flavours of tobacco nor bourbon. I read elsewhere that Manabush were forced to change their recipes due to ingredient sourcing and sorry to say this line, which was previously a favourite, may have been a victim of this. And I think other companies are making better tobacco flavours now imo.

Close But Nice Cigar! (17 October 2023)

This wasn't for me as it turned out but it is pretty much as described, Cigar with Whiskey. It does grow on you after a while but personally taste I wouldn't buy again.

Not keen on this one - everyone has different taste, but it feels more like 'Southern Comfort' to me. More high-end boozy notes rather than the smoky tobacco taste I was hoping for. I don't think I'll finish the bottle.

If you want tobacco with a bit of a twist then try this one. Decent tobacco with a extra kick from the bourbon. A bit harsh on the coils but tasty.

Exactly as described but not quite to my taste (04 August 2020)

This is a difficult one to rate as whilst it isn't really to my taste, it is more or less exactly what it says on the tin. It's a very deep, smoky taste that I suspect is reminiscent of cigars. There is a distinct bourbon taste on the exhale, giving it an even muskier aftertaste.
I admit, I quite like my eliquids to be savoury rather than sweet but this is a tad too savoury for me. The smoky taste is too predominant and it really needed a bite of sweetness to lighten it slightly.
That said, for those who want a deep tobacco flavour without any lingering sweetness, this will be perfect. If you're looking for a lighter flavour try Fire Water No.2 and my favourite by far is Fire Water No.3 which has the depth and the sweetness balanced to perfection.
So not to my tastes, but it is exactly what the description said. From the Fire Water pack, no.3 will be the one I end up re-purchasing, but I suspect there is something for every taste in the three pack.

Not what I anticipated (15 July 2020)

I really looked forward to this because of the good reviews but to me it just tastes like any simple tobacco juice. I'd hoped the tobacco flavour would resemble a real cigar but I didn't feel this was the case. If you like tobacco juices, this is still decent but just not as I'd hoped.

This is the worst juice i tried. Its only good to give it to someone you hate. Have 3 bottles of it and they are going to a bin.

Excellent flavour and quality (08 June 2020)

I came back to vaping after quitting and part of the reason was weirdly that I had a candle at christmas which was cigar and tobacco, and i thought that would be a nice flavour so i sought out several different brands but this was the best i tried.
If you think it'll taste like 'cigars' then it doesn't really...real cigars are very strong and have that ashy burnt smell that comes from real tobacco - this is all the gorgeous richness without the nasty bits. The whiskey flavours are sweet and smoky and its a great vape to have with a drink or a cup of coffee - certainly a mature flavour and it works very well on coils as its not loaded with sugar, so it burns nice and smooth. Would love to try on a sub ohm.
This is now my 'go-to' adv so have ordered a big bottle this time! -1 star as it goes too fast!

I must be missing something... (04 June 2020)

Tried this on the back of the positive reviews but I found it absolutely disgusting. Could have been a bad batch but my goodness... I LOVE the Five Pawns Black Flag Risen and thought this might be along the same lines. Difficult to describe the flavour but imagine chewing on raw tobacco. Genuinely made me feel sick and it went straight in the bin. No bourbon flavour whatsoever. Genuinely the worst liquid I have ever tried but I guess some people enjoy it!

Pretty good (15 May 2020)

I wasn't expecting the taste to be soo close to Cigar...just wow! you can feel the bourbon on the exhale and it is smooth. It is perfect for a MTL device with high nicotine and for the drinking with friends nights out.

Firewater Nos 1 (07 March 2020)

How do you judge a liquid? How much you liked it? How much it matches the description? Personally, I don't like this one. I bought it to try because its by Manabush, and I was curious. However, if I was to give it a poor review because of my tastes, that wouldn't really be fair. It tastes EXACTLY like the description. If you've been looking for a cigar flavour, that actually tastes like a cigar, this is it, you'll be in heaven. If you don't actually like cigars that much, maybe look elsewhere.

A slow burner that now has me hooked (17 January 2020)

A friend described it as watered down bourbon that's had a cigar stubbed out in it. Well, that's now my cocktail of choice if this is anything to go by!
I'm yet to find a better tobacco style vape and I've tried and been disappointed by so very many.
Strong cigar tobacco notes, but this is better than any cigar I've ever had, yes even better than the real thing.
I now just need a liquid that smells better than pipe tobacco - liquid producers please take note!

Very Good (15 August 2019)

This one rewards perseverance before you are able to detect all the nuances of flavours - a rich tobacco taste is the driving factor but this carries with it a sweet whiskey tinge that becomes quite delicious when your pallet adjusts to it. It may seem rather strong at first but stick with it because it is rather wonderful with repeated puffs.
I like this one...like it a lot
