Possibly the weakest flavour I’ve tried. Not sure what banana this was based on, but even though it smells like banana, it tastes like nothing really.
wouldn't buy it again as the aniseed is too overpowering and just not for me

The idea is great and the combination is more than ok, the only problem is the quantity or the intensity of aniseed , it’s too strong . Practically it makes the rest of flavours hard to enjoy. Can’t vape this too long because it’s getting sickly

If you like aniseed you will love this very strong after taste

okay, maybe if you really really like aniseed this might be your thing, but for me this was awful. Not much banana at all, and a hint of synthetic, sickly "chocolate" and then just this blast of rankness and boke-inducing licorice.
Not my tank of vape

I'm very puzzled by the reviews not only of this particular e-liquid but of all the ones I have tried. Leaving aside the fact that taste is in any case very subjective, I get the impression that personal experience of a given e-liquid varies greatly from individual to individual. There are a lot of variables that go into making up one man's (or girl's) experience including the kit they are vaping on, the power setting, the nicotine strength of the juice, the age of the juice (less than one month and it may not have steeped enough), whether the ingredients were properly blended in the first place and whether they have settled out in the meantime, not forgetting how the product was stored a) by the manufacturer, b) by the retailer, c) by the consumer. There are others too but I'm getting off the point. The following is my personal experience with Vampire Vape Funky Monkey (6mg strength, Aspire ET-S clearomizer with BVC coil, Aspire 1600 mAh VV battery):
When I first opened the bottle, I got a chemical smell that didn't bring to mind any of the ingredients supposedly in the liquid. The first tankful, indeed the first half or so of the bottle tasted overwhelmingly of the soft squidgy brown bits of an overripe banana, initially accompanied by a somewhat icky chemical aftertaste that almost made me retch. As I progressed, the rotten banana taste was somewhat attenuated and the last part of the bottle was actually quite nice but only because by this point all that I could taste was the aniseed. The chocolate, at least tastewise, was completely absent at every stage.
Something else that I found off-putting about this e-liquid was that as I got further into the bottle so the juice darkened in colour and at the end I was left with a brown sludgy deposit that coated the bottom part of my tank and clogged up the wick in my coilhead, making any kind of draw an exercise in lung power with both the length of the draw and the ramp up time of the coil growing exponentially. If I was supposed to have shaken the bottle vigorously in order to keep the heavier components in suspension before every fill, they should have made that clear on the bottle.
After this I tried the Banoffee Pie which was far more pleasant but only because all you can taste is the caramel and the banana might as well not be there.

Not great, I think if they just stuck with the chocolate and bananas it'd be a little better but the aniseed kills it - and I like aniseed.

Great flavour. Nice and strong. Sweet. Aniseed all the way with a hint of banana. My daily vape. Need bigger bottles. I may be the odd one out but i love it. Good clouds.

Well i dont agree that vampire vape range has the same aftertaste as each other like the comment below.
Some of my favorite flavors come from this range, for me they are strong for the price, but....
This flavor is the worst i have ever, ever had. The best way i can describe it is that its tastes like smoking a plastic bottle.
It also stained my tank for ages, and everything i smoked for a week tasted so bad.

The product had the same after-taste as all VV products, A poor taste of acrid aniseed and bad liquorice. I would not recommend it unless you have tried VV products before and weirdly enjoyed them.

At first I found this to be very hard hitting on the taste buds. Very aniseedy. steep it for a week and the flavours settle. I started adding a small amount to other flavours I have as it gives a sweet fruity hit on the tongue. Now I love the stuff I think this one grows on you its a very pungent at first but once you get by the anise it is a fruity, refreshing, sticky, sweet vape

Well this certainly packs a punch for the sweet lovers. Wonderful banana flavour initially with a chocolate aftertaste and a remainder of anise mmmmmmm. Definately a keeper, can become sickly after a while so a treat to behold when the mood takes. Great clouds of Vape too.
