The Smok TFV8 X-Baby replacement coils are designed for use with the Smok TFV8 X Baby vape tank. Due to the coil resistance, these perform best with high VG eliquids of 60% and above.
Features:
Featuring a Stainless Steel build, allowing for a longer lifespan as well as being compatible with Temperature Control and Variable Wattage mode. These coils are recommended to be powered between 40-80 watts.
These 0.4 Ohm dual coils are designed slightly differently to the coils in the Baby and Big Baby range, the X-Baby coils are unfortunately not cross-compatible with the other tanks and can only be used in the X-Baby.

Important information about Sub Ohm Vaping:
These coils are designed for sub-ohm vaping. They require more vaping experience to use safely, and extra care should be taken when using a sub ohm tank and mod. The coils will only work on a mod capable of firing sub ohm atomisers. Please ensure that your batteries can handle the extra power requirements, and that your mod can handle the amps.
We also advise not to use any e-liquid with more than 6mg of nicotine, as your vapour may taste harsh. Sub ohm vaping produces a bigger throat hit than standard coils, and extra care should be taken.

They are good coils overall but not like the T6. The wick wears down fast and doesn't absorb liquid on high VG very fast. If you are a chain vaper it's not recommended.

Perfect flavour, perfect amount of vapour and great price however do not chain vape or abuse it or it will lose its flavour production quite quickly.

I accidentally bought the tank that these fit in, instead of replacing a smok tank that I can't seem to find anywhere now :( So then had to buy the tank that these do fit in. They're really fiddly to install. At first I thought I'd ordered the wrong ones again, but they're just a bit of a pain. You have to hold the coil and tank perfectly flat/still otherwise the coil will just slip out and not tighten. I'd say it's average when it comes to longevity, some burnt hits, not as bad as other coils I've tried. It's a shame to only get 3 in a pack. I know that's not going to last me the month.

X baby cannot leak (unless not sitting upright) as it is a top airflow tank which is fantastic!!

Don't chain vape and don't take a huge draw and your coil will last longer and a lower wattage. Also a good quality clear liquid isn't as hard on the coil I find as well . Been using Rodeo and Ruthless.
Millions of coils are made of course there will be a ""dud""... One coil is almost the price of one ciggie now !!

These are my favourite coils, flavour is always great (no burnt taste). They also seem to last a long while before they need replacing.

Really great if primed & saturated before use. Have encountered problems with leaking with these in the past although these issues don’t occur with every single coil for me.
Good value for money especially for me as I wouldn’t know where to begin with a RDA or RTA, and don’t know the first thing about ohms and wattage. They also produce really nice flavour but don’t last very long. Nice and smooth but dry hits and spit back does occur on occasion of attention is not being paid to the atomiser.

I can't say that I had the issue mentioned above [burned after one day]. It usually takes me about 5 days, till I need to change it.
For me the biggest plus is that it never leaked or spit :)

I bought a new Smok kit and it came with one of these coils installed. It lasted around 2 months and was probably the best flavour I've ever had from any coil. Bought a pack of 3 replacements and the 1st one I put in lasted literally about 12 hours before it was burnt out. Smok is just ridiculously hit and miss, but to be so faulty that it lasts not even one full day, it's simply not worth it. A friend of mine suggested switching to a dripper (a goon to be precise) and I have now seen the light. Smok mods are really good. Smok coils however are simply cheap Chinese goods. It's a roulette when you get a pack of 3 or 5. Never again.

I did not try the replacement coils yet as I am using the one already installed on the tank. I primed the coil and broke it up by slowly increasing the wattage in the first couple of tanks. It's my 4th day I went through about 10ml of liquid and it is still strong. Factory suggested 55W-65W for best results but at 55W I got dry hit and cotton taste. I found it working better at between 40W-50W. However, I think it also depends on liquid. E.g. while vaping lemon tart 50W is maximum but with mother's milk the flavour starts come out at 65W. However, any watt above 50W, if you inhale long there is a good chance to get dry hit or burned wick taste.

1st coils i have used on the x baby .. but def noticed a flavour boost compared to baby beast and big baby tank .. great clouds too .. also big big thank you to vape club .. informed them they had them advertised as 5 for £10 as a legit mitake .. they have just sent me a extra pack free of charge .. i do not shop any place else .. love this web site they are super fare and go the extra mile !!
