The NiteCore D2 is a universal automatic smart-charger that is compatible with most rechargeable batteries including IMR/Li-ion, Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries. The D2 has two battery slots, eliminating the need to own several chargers. It can recharge two batteries at the same time and each of the microcomputer-controlled charging ports can auto-detect, monitor, and charge batteries independently.
The D2 detects each battery’s status and auto selects the appropriate charge mode, either Constant Charge Current (CC), Constant Charge Voltage (CV) or Trickle Charge. An integrated LCD screen shows the current charging status of each battery, as well as voltage and current.
Constructed from ABS flame-retardant and resistant material, the D2 includes several safety features such as over-charge protection, auto-shut-off for fully charged batteries, and reverse polarity protection.

This charger works great no more worrying about charging batteries in the mod which I never liked to do this seems a lot better than the one that I got of Amazon for around the same price

Instead, buy one of these, and have the peace of mind that your batteries are going to be charged correctly, with the right current and the charger eventually stops charging when fully charged, which is also nice

Very pleased with this charger. Yes it does take a bit longer than other chargers I've used, but the batteries never feel hot to the touch and I prefer the added peace of mind I get from the raft of great safety features.

This charger is great however it takes around 5-6 hours to fully charge two 18650 batteries

Bought this along with a couple vtc4 batteries to keep as spares. Charges the batteries in no time, as its intelligent you just pop the batteries in and it does its thing, adjusting charge rate to suit the condition of the battery also turns off when fully charged which is great for these potentially dangerous batteries. Would definitely recommend as is easy to use and makes charging very safe.
