The Flatwire Flapton Coil Wire can be used to create your own Flapton rebuildable coil. These coils are cross-compatible with a wide range of rebuildable atomisers including RDAs and RTAS. This pre-constructed wire makes building much quicker as all you’ll need to do is trim your wire and then wrap it into shape. The Flapton combines the best qualities of a Clapton build and standard flat wire, the result is an increased surface area that still heats up quickly - offering superior vapour and flavour production.
With multiple options available, that use a range of wire types, you can create a coil that meets your exact specification. This wire can be used to construct either an MTL or DTL coil - whichever you prefer. Please note, that only the Stainless Steel versions of this coil can be used in Variable Wattage mode and Temperature Control mode, the other builds will support Variable Wattage mode only.
Important information about rebuildable vape coils:
Rebuildable coils like these can only be used with rebuildable atomisers, such as RDTAs, RTAs and RDAs. We would only recommend these types of coils to advanced vapers, who have a thorough understanding of vaping, Ohm’s law and battery safety. Rebuildable coils will need to have cotton wicks fitted to them before use, these are available separately.
Before use, all rebuildable coils should be tested on Ohmmeter (never a vape device) to check they are registering the correct resistance and are firing correctly. Please note that when using a dual coil build, the resistance of your coils will halve. For example, two 0.4 Ohm coils fitted to a rebuildable atomiser will register 0.2 Ohm. Different types of coil can not be mixed and matched.

Really good stuff, I bought the SS316 for temp controlling and it’s been a decent vape. Sometimes it’s a bit tricky to build, given it’s flat it has a tendency to twist but once you get the hand of it, it makes some decent coils.
