Smok RPM Replacement Coils for my Nord4 (13 June 2025)

There were a couple of, not duds exactly, but “low performers” in the pack . But generally these coils perform to expectation.

Through experience I’ve found that cheaper vape liquids (ie. Ones you might get from your off-license, when you’ve run out of good ones ) tend to cause a shorter life span of the coils and lower their potential.

If I’m honest, I’ve never explored the many variations of these coils , but on the whole this brand is good, and I’ve had success with the nord4 .

Some last 10 days some last 2 days.... total pain. Love the nord 4 vape but regardless of which coil they all seem so random in longevity.

The 0.6 seem to suit my cola or lemon juices but the life of them is soooo hit n miss. I always prime correctly yet the life seems to vary wildly even across the same pack of coils.

See reports of 2 or 3 weeks and wonder what I am doing wrong..... 1 week is about the max for me

MTL Vaper - been using these for years now and the 0.6ohm rarely fail. On occasion, a single lost has lasted me 3 weeks. But on average I get two weeks out of one. Prime correctly with 50%vg liquid (avoiding overly sweet flavours) for optimum performance.

Decent coils but a gamble on how long they last (15 November 2023)

I use the 0.4 coil they can last from 5 days to 10 depending on the liquid you use. Its a gamble on how long they last. Vape club is the cheapest place i have found them online

Some of the best coils money can buy I use a really old rpm 40 and with other coils especially the ones recommended for 25 watts would drain the battery on my vape but I've recently gotten the .3 ohm coils which last 2x as long and have a great impact to the favour deliver

Best coils I’ve used for 50/50 MTL (25 October 2023)

Lasts a good few days using 50/50 liquid between 12w-16w. Perfect for MTL. Using the Nord 4 and haven’t had any problems.

Seem to give good flavour and the 0.4 seem to be good for me and my Nord 4.

However, in the last pack of 5 I Had 3 that lasted only 2 days each...maybe a bad batch?

This is a decent coil, but I have to use it at 12W for it to feel like a real Mtl coil. I had 1 coil in my pack that didn't work and vape club sent me a 5 pack of replacements! Absolutely brilliant service from vape club!

I am fairly new to vaping so I have been trying different kits etc. I thought I would try the SMOK with a higher resistance coil. They are straight forward to replace and last fairy well. The higher resistance gives a less harsh throat hit

Best Smok coil for Nord 50w (01 March 2023)

I've tried pretty much all variants of Coil wattage, resistance. These coils are 0.6 ohm, used on a Smok Nord 50w with 50/50 juice, burning at 15 to 18 watts is my best combo to date.
You can find them cheaper but Vape Club do price match.

I always buy the 0.8 MTLs. Each coil lasts me on average on 1-2 weeks. Great flavour and smooth for MTL vaping.

Excellent coils, gives a great fresh taste for around 5-7days, and I’m an ex smoker who vapes from the second I wake up till just before sleeping. Every so often you get a dud that’ll last only a couple of days before it burns but this is few and far between.

1.2 Ohm produces smooth vapour, although I suspect it could potentially last longer. The sub-ohm varieties seem to burn through liquid far too quickly

I really like these coils and always have done. Great amount of resistance but not too much. Also, VapeClub is the only vape site I use and probably the cheapest place to get these which is a bonus!

SMOK RPM REPLACEMENT COILS, 0.4 Ohm Mesh (27 August 2022)

I'm impressed with the 0.4 Ohm coils for my SMOK NORD 2 Pod, so much so that I've just gone with another pack. I tend to vape at a lower than average wattage - somewhere between 14 and 20 W depending on the juice with shortfills seeming to need a bigger boost than a 10ml bottle. For me that combo gives a good amount of clouds, doesn't affect the flavour too much and is easy on the throat. The coils last around 2 weeks. They're easy enough to change, albeit a little messy. Great product.

Used this for ipx80, saw a lot ot of leaking complaints, but for me only the 1.0 ohm leaks all the time, 1.2 works fine.

Great Coils! (21 May 2022)

The first coil I used died within the first day, however this was my fault as I didn't prime it correctly.

The second coil has so far lasted me over a week and still shows no sign of needing to be replaced.

Just make sure to prime your coil before installation (put a tiny bit of juice in the middle and allow the cotton to absorb the juice), also make sure to break the coil in on a lower wattage and then slowly ramp it up to your desired wattage.

My go to replacement coils for Smok Nord 2 (09 May 2022)

These coils offer a great taste from your eliquids and they last a fair amount of time, I use them at 24 watt and get around 2 weeks out of each coil (with about 200 puffs a day, they're not used in my all day/main vape device, see further comments) . I'm using these in a Smok Nord 2 for cbd liquids and they are just perfect for that. Good quality coils at a fair price. Quickly become my go to.

Decent, great for delivering flavour, i use the 0.4 at 22W seems to be the sweet spot for me, I get through 1 about every 5-6 days and I vape quite alot.

I use the RPM 2 Mod with the 0.6 coil, it delivers great flavour and consistency along with a long life per coil, depending on your usage but a 5 pack typically last me 6-8 weeks

I use these RPM 0.4 Mesh coils for my Nord 4 80w and are the only ones I will use from now on. These seem to be much better than the RPM2 coils that also came with the Nord 4 kit, much smoother hit with better flavour

These coils last a long time, I've been using my kit for a while and the mesh 0.4 coils work great for an smooth mouth to lung vape. I just ordered some of these for my Nord 4 80w kit and they work great!

Good 0.8 MTL (04 July 2021)

Using 0.8 coil MTL on new Smok RPM4 at 16W with 50/50 10mg Nic Salts and all good. Tried at lower wattage and flavour pretty similar but takes longer to get going. Good throat hit but not harsh with a little air flow. No sign of leaks after a few days.

The 1.2 coil compare to 0.8 ohm is definitely different more resistance but not as good as the 0.8 I think I get better hit from the 0.8 and the taste is better as well.
