After a bit of homework I decided upon the PockeX as my first step into vaping... transitioning from being a regular smoker.
First off I was impressed by the quality of the device, it's design and aesthetic feel. It kinda feels like a mini light sabre! (I have the stainless steel one).
I found it charged fairly quickly via the USB C port and didn't take long to prime it up for the first puff.
The PockeX is pre-installed with a 0.6 OHM coil and I loaded up 20ml worth of 70:30 pressed pear with added nic salt shots via the top load tank. Very simple I found.
Upon my first draw, which was very smooth, so smooth that I thought nothing had happened until I slowly exhaled and a long dragon like smoke seeped from my nose and mouth. That was my first great experience from using this device. I didn't think there would be so much cloud... it's kinda relaxing to look at.
Like any device you own a discipline of care is necessary to maintain it's health.
Fortunately the necessary replacement parts needed over time are plentiful and affordable on Vape Club.
If you made it this far... I do recommend based on my experience but already I'm out to try other devices. You don't know until you have a go!

I love this vape, it’s simple and easy to use, and if prepared properly it doesn’t leak which is fab! Definitely recommend for a first time caper as it doesn’t give off too much vape smoke and not harsh on the throat

I've had two of these now. Build quality is good. The product feels nicely heavy but fits in a pocket quite nicely without weighing it down. The battery lasts all day for me and charges fairly quickly. I've dropped and smashed the tank glass, but luckily replacements are sold here and are very cheap. Overall I'd recommend to a beginner, especially with the higher ohm coils. A version with a USB-C charging port would be a welcome update.

The Aspire Pockex is a well known starter kit but using the right coil to the juice you are using is vital. 1.2 keeps you a smooth throat hit whilst the 0.6ohm coils may give you a bit of scratchy throat!

If you're after a non expensive mtl kit this could be a good one for you. As long as you use the 1.2 ohm coils this is a decent device for 50/50 liquid and nic Salts. The glass can break quite easily though so probably good idea to have a spare glass

It’s been years since I had one of these but returned to it to vape 50 pg. Yes the filling means you have to take the coil out resulting in some dripping and loss of product but I prefer it to the side fill ones some tiny kits have and the power is adequate for my needs. It’s no problem to charge; I’ve used my MyBlu charger for it which is a bit longer. It’s very easy to use and battery better than the inhale to activate ones. Not surprised some people have several. I might do this too! I bought the white one which looks very nice!

I’ve bought 5 of these, I really like the battery life and juice capacity, it’s flavourful and the draw is pleasant, great, but my biggest peeve is they’re just sooo leaky.
I have oil stains all over tops, bags, jeans, all over my cushions and sofa, whenever I lay it down, it’s so infuriating!
The paint also scratches and chips really easy, so it looks naff really quickly.. top tip, buy the silver one.

I bought the Pockex as a spare device to my Nautilus XPrime and I love it!!
It’s simple to use, easy to fill and has a great battery life. The only drawback is the micro USB charging point. It can be a bit fiddly to get the cable into at first.

After being recommended to this by a friend I love this little vape kit, I’ve had rubbish pens in the past and couldn’t be doing with the maintenance on them. I have been recently using disposable vapes and after a while I’m thinking in need to save money, and they can’t be great for the environment so got myself this vape pod and it’s brilliant, easy to use no fussing about, I’ve had it for only 2 days but I know this suits me perfectly, and I’m proud to say I do not miss smoking cigarettes since I stopped last year. I received this product approximately two weeks ago. It was recommended to me by Vape Club as an ex-smoker of 20 years. It is very simple to use and refill, the coil is a little bit fiddly to unscrew, but I have now managed to do that and I’m happy using it. It is not the same as smoking but I imagined it wouldn’t be. It is for me a great substitute and I have not smoked a cigarette since I started using this.

This is my go-to for something to vape around other people who might not want a big cloud blown in their face. It is also the kit that made me realise what my vaping style really is, as I went through at least one coil a day to make it perform how I wanted it to when it was my main kit.
Long story short, I smoked hookah first, then switched to cigarettes out of convenience, so I probably never smoked cigarettes 'the right way' to begin with, and DTL is very much my preferred vaping style, even as a new vaper (I was 'tricked' by the 'common knowledge' that former cigarette smokers would prefer a higher Ohm). Based on research, I first went straight MTL, which didn't suit at all, then went Pockex 0.6. The 0.6 Ohm coils, as it turns out, are not quite low enough for me, but, as I said, good for social vaping, as the clouds aren't large enough to bother bystanders too much.
For a lot of people, the coils will probably last longer, but not if you really want to take it deep. Again, probably down to your personal style.
It spits quite a bit, and can make a bit of a mess, too, but I always felt the flavour comes through quite well. I like the size and aesthetics of it. For some people, I believe this will hands down be their favourite kit. It's just not quite my preferred vaping style.

Small lightweight and pocket friendly.

I had this vape as my beginning vape and it is amazing as a starter vape, very straight forward and easy to fill. However because the tank is glass you have to be careful it doesn’t smash, but that only happens if you are careless with it, but it is very reliable and the charge lasts for well over a day without charging it, depending on how much you use it. Would definitely recommend anyone who is looking to vape and does not know what kit to buy.

It was the petite size that drew me in, and that's kinda where the positives stop.
The refilling system means you remove the coil from the tank, resulting in having to juggle a core that is going to drip somewhere as you fill up, it's messy to say the least.
While charging it gets ridiculously hot on the base, to the point it cannot be touched.
The inner glass broke unscrewing it for the first time, and I'm not exactly heavy handed.
The battery life is terrible, lucky to get a full day out of it with mild use, and if you do the final 50% of the battery is so feeble is barely worth using.
The most frustrating bit is actually what purpose it serves. If you put salt nic in, the coils (0.6) last 2-3 days max with light use, if you put regular 70/30 in with 6mg nic it lasts 6-7 days but the flavour is virtually non-existent.
Given up on it and gone back to my Sky Solo.

Aspire seems to have really gone down hill. I liked this vaping device because it was small and sturdy. The PockeX I got (my second in a year) lasted for about 3 months, and even then during the last two months I had problems. The tank leaks, the battery power goes in and out or doesn't charge, and the vape production is very inconsistent. There are much better products available.

I gave up smoking and started vaping with this one on a recommendation as I still wanted a hit on the back of the throat, but didn't want a complex vape. I can say this delivers just that. Easy to use and refill and not that big really. My only negative, if it is in fact fair to say, is I forget to turn it off after use and the button is easily pressed when in a pocket or bag.
The coils seem to last a decent time and so when comparing this to the money I spent on cigarettes I am so better off.
This is a good value vape and as I like to have a couple of different flavours throughout the day I just purchased 2 of them to save messing around. You then have the added bonus of not having to worry about running out of charge so much.

Used the PockeX for around 7 months now and it's still going strong. My friend had issues with the button getting jammed on his PockeX but for the period i've had mine it's still working perfectly. Coil replacements are a bit costly but when you compare it to a pouch of tobacco it's still a win. Some coils can be faulty but there's not a lot of them, i had more faulty coils/pods with the OG Caliburn. Flavour and vapour production is amazing, great airflow, easy to fill and rarely leaks. Just don't overfill it over the max line

What not to like about the Pockex? It’s so simple send easy. The coil screws in to the cap so there’s no way it can be inserted wrong. Airflow and wattage are set. Just fill and that’s all. It performs brilliantly, good clouds and decent throat hit. For me the coils last nearly two weeks and the battery is very good.

Awful, purchased as a carry around vape.
Firstly it does NOT come with 2 x 0.6 coils as stated above. One coil is 1.2 and not worth eveb using.
After buying 2 packs of 0.6 coils, every single one of the coils burnt out within 2 days. Using 50/50 juice too!
This is now in the bin a few weeks after buying as it cannot be used! Easily worst vape I've come across

I bought this as a replacement for my other vape that broke. The coil burnt out in just over a day, it says it's a leak proof design, but it leaked around the top cap seal and glass panels and there is absolutely no flavour at all.
I'd suggest going with the Vaporesso Luxe or thr PM40.

I was on holiday a while back and took my smok nord 2 with me, unfortunately I dropped it in the swimming pool. I found this device and it was actually better than the smok. The flavours or produced were brilliant and the battery lasted longer than the smok nord 2. I found adding the eLiquid slightly off as it can be a little messy other than that a fantastic little device that packs a punch.

I have been using this trusty vape for over 6 months now and it's amazing. I was recommended it as a starter and I definitely think it's one of the best. Honestly can’t rate this little vape high enough for the price, definitely a good one for first timers. I’ve been using 70vg liquids with this vape and the hit is super smooth and strong. The only one negative is that the charge wire is very short and the base of the vape seems to get really REALLY hot for the first hour of charging, but I just make sure it’s resting on a cool surface and it really hasn’t caused any harm at all. I absolutely love this vape, great size/weight, great price and so easy to use.

Great little kit to start off with or if your an experienced vaper. I found this very easy to use with no added complications. However after 5 months of using the device it has started to leak liquid a little from the screw off top which is a bit annoying and cannot figure out what has gone wrong. Changing coils can be a bit messy also avoiding liquid loss.

Switched to the PockeX after my previous “no fuss kit” ended up being an awful lot of fuss.
This was simple to set up and use straight out of the box. Light to hold, fits easily in my pocket and really decent battery life for its size. Refilling is simple and not messy at all.
So if you’re looking for something that you can just get on with and use, this does the job well.

This thing is a simple to use and effective starter kit. The coils are easy to change, the flavour is pretty good as is the throat hit (with the 0.6 coils). I've moved onto bigger and better but generally keep this one available for when you need an easy to carry one. All I would say is the coils let it down a bit. When they work, they're great. More often than not though there are a couple of coils in the pack that will have a horrible burnt plastic taste.

This was the first vape I owned and loved it so much, I bought a second after it died.
It’s a great starter vape for trying out new juices and will suit all.
It does tend to leak a bit but the battery has a good few days worth of life which is a massive plus.

Really wanted to love this piece of kit but for me the refilling part let it down.
The changing of coils and refilling can be a bit messy and you have to be pretty precise with how much liquid you put in to make sure it doesn’t overflow when you put the coil back in. Also found it gurgled most of the time (not a major issue) but there was also quite a lot of spit back after refilling.
Apart from those points it a good bit of kit, great price!...really easy to use, one button, and good flavour -would be perfect for a beginner new to vaping. Just wasn’t for me.

If you're new to vaping and a bit put off my all the clouds this is the place to start. Small and discrete like a cigarette with not too much vapour. Really easy to refill and you get decent flavour from it.

Would highly recommend for anyone who is new to vaping or just wants to replace the cigerettes.

Absolutely loved using this vape as it was my first introduction to vaping and and excellent one at that. It's a no fuss vape with only 1 button to operate. Has very decent vapour production considering its size and juices actually tasted very nice.
It's definitely a go to if you're looking to get into vaping as it's very easy to maintain and the PockeX coils last a long time!
I might actually buy this again for when I'm out and about because it's very small and light. 10/10

Terrible. The coils kept overheating. You have to put in exactly the right amount of vape fluid to get it to work which seems to vary. I would definitely not recommend this product.

I tried so hard to love this kit, has a great style about it, but one fatal flaw I experienced with this kit is related to the refilling part. Almost everytime I had to refil with eliquid, gurgling and spitting happened, the only way to clear this was by blowing hard to clear it all out, which became a very messy process. Not sure if this was down to the coils or not, but I found it a pain. When it did vape, it was fab, but I hated the refilling part!

I have just switched to using my Aspire PockeX having become increasing frustrated and losing my temper with my ecig from a leading brand. I have just switched the atomizer head over to Nautilus X 1.8 and oh my word what a difference! This is now my new favourite ecig EVER! It is so smooth, easy to refill, great tasting vapour and so, so much more user friendly. I absolutely love it! No stupid charging point on the bottom of the pod, no ridiculous bottom refill, no burning atomizer heads after 2 days and no spitting juice! I hope I never ever need to switch away from this ecig ever again!

Used this after not vaping for a couple of years. Both me and my wife got one of these and for her it's perfect, she wanted something to help quit smoking but for me it wasn't quite enough - I wanted deeper clouds and more power.
That said, I still use it. It's a handy size to keep in the car or a pocket. Enough power in it to get some good flavour out too
