Pod kits, as a general rule, are quite simple. If you want a vape kit with plenty of features, you’d usually be better off with a box mod kit. However, the Xlim Pro 2 DNA combines the versatility of a box mod kit with the smaller build of a pod vape – making it ideal if you want a customisable vape that’s still pocket-friendly.
How Does The Oxva Xlim Pro 2 DNA Look And Feel?
While the Xlim Pro 2 DNA is a touch heavier than other pod kits of similar sizes, it’s not uncomfortable to hold at all. Instead, the weight lends the kit a more premium, solid feel. In terms of look, the Pro 2 DNA comes in five colours. Pick from dark and understated Frosted Titanium Blue and Nebula Grey, or brighter, lighter Silk Brown and Silk White. For something unique, go for Luminous Forged Carbon Fibre which features glow-in-the-dark detailing.
The Xlim Pro 2 DNA’s screen is much like the one found on the earlier Xlim Pro 2. It’s clear and crisp. Below the screen there’s a colourful light strip. You can choose whether it displays a colour related to your battery level, whether it scrolls through a rainbow of colours, or turn it off entirely.
What’s The Oxva Xlim Pro 2 DNA Kit Like To Use?
Despite all of its capabilities, the Xlim Pro 2 DNA remains simple to set up and start using. Insert your pod into your device, fill it up, and inhale on the mouthpiece to vape. That’s all you need to do.
But, if you want more control this kit also features a DNA chipset. What does that actually mean though? A chipset is an electronic component that when used in a vape allows you to control the flow of power from your battery to your coil. DNA chipsets offer a whole lot more, they can be upgraded and altered using special software and programmed to better control the power level and even temperature of your device – it’s the vaping equivalent of a supercomputer.
You can adjust the power level by clicking the fire button three times and then clicking to change the wattage. Plus, the device outputs on a power curve – the harder you inhale, the more power is sent to the coil. When you do experience your ideal puff, you can click the Replay button to save those settings, your device will then output that custom curve with your next vape.
Anti-Burn is another big one – the kit detects if your pod is empty, based on precise temperature monitoring, and won’t fire until you fill it up. It’s important to note that Anti-Burn and Replay only work if you pair your kit with the Xlim Stainless Steel pods, not the standard Xlim Top Fill pods.
The Xlim Pro 2 DNA delivers a strong flavour, especially when paired with the included Stainless Steel Xlim pods. Charging is lightning-fast too – your kit can go from 0% to 100% in around 50 minutes. Given that’s less than an hour, and that’s from a completely flat battery, if you ever simply need a quick top up you’ll only need to pop your vape on charge for a few minutes.
How To Use Step by Step:
Charge Your Device
Plug your Xlim Pro 2 DNA in using the included USB-C charging cable. The screen will display your battery level.
Fill Your Pod
Unplug the rubber stopper on the side of the pod and top it up with e-liquid. We recommend using a 50% VG vape juice.
Wait For Your Pod To Prime
Wait for ten minutes to allow the e-liquid to soak into the coil. This will make your pod last longer and improve flavour.
Inhale On The Mouthpiece To Vape
Take a puff on the mouthpiece to vape, or press and hold the fire button. You’ll experience a small amount of vapour.
Adjust The Power Level
Click the fire button three times to unlock wattage control, and then press it to adjust the wattage.
Use Replay Mode
When you’ve found your ideal puff, click the Replay button and your device will remember that output level and match it every time.
What Is The Best Oxva Xlim Pro 2 DNA Pod?
The Xlim Pro 2 DNA is compatible with both Xlim Stainless Steel and Xlim Top Fill pods. Both styles of pod are the same price, and each pack includes the same number of pods (three per pack). Both pods are available in 0.6 Ohm, 0.8 Ohm and 1.2 Ohm resistances, you can also find the Top Fill pods in a 0.4 Ohm resistance.
The Stainless Steel pods give you access to the kit’s Replay function and feature Oxva’s Anti-Burn technology, so they’ll often be the better choice. However, if you’re looking for the lowest resistance possible, you’ll want the 0.4 Ohm Top Fill pods.

The Xlim Pro 2 DNA outputs slightly different power levels depending on how hard you puff. This means the coil will reach slightly different temperatures each time – unlocking different flavour notes in your e-liquid. When you experience a puff that you want to stick with, hit the Replay button and your kit will output at that level every time until you clear your Replay settings.
