The Voopoo Argus E40 vape kit is a powerful option for new and experienced sub ohm vapers alike, looking for a device with a longer battery life. Its hefty built-in 1800mAh battery and 5-40W power output will allow for large amounts of vapour, so if you’re a DTL (Direct To Lung) vaper this is an ideal pick. Plus, when your battery eventually runs out, its fast charging capability will get you back to vaping in as little as an hour.
The Argus E40 features a single-button navigation, making it straightforward to use. Just click to adjust the power output within its 5-40W range or to activate the device. But if you prefer, just inhale on the mouthpiece to start vaping instead. If you’d like to fine-tune things a little more, use the stepless airflow control slider to tighten or loosen the feel of each puff. Your settings will also be displayed on a handy LED screen, which displays key data such as battery life, coil resistance, and wattage.
The Argus E40 pods are side-filling and can be refilled with 2ml of e-liquid. Each pod houses a built-in coil in a 0.3 Ohm or 0.6 Ohm resistance. Whilst the 0.3 Ohm DTL pod will create large amounts of vapour, the 0.6 Ohm option will create a more discreet cloud of vapour for RDTL (Restricted Direct To Lung) vaping. We recommend pairing them with a 70% VG e-liquid or higher, but the 0.6 Ohm option will also work well with a 50% VG vape juice. I spent many years building my own coils for sub ohm vaping, but switched to pods just for their ease and portability. When I saw the E40 could take 0.3 and 0.2ohm coils, this looked like the perfect compromise: true sub ohm DTL vaping with plenty of cloud, all in a pod system. It's early days but so far I'm really impressed with this set up.
The general guidance was for 50/50 mix for 0.3 and higher resistance, and 70/30 using the 0.2, but I'm currently vaping Lava Flow at 70/30 with a 0.3 and it's spot on.
My only issue is that it's more difficult to see the juice level with these pods over the Argus pods, otherwise this has quickly become my pod system of choice. I'm a big fan of Voopoo products and this another win for them.
