The Freemax Maxus Solo 100W vape mod has an innovative LED light display, which means you’ll stand out from the crowd in terms of both power output and style. When used with a single 20700, 21700 or 18650 battery (sold separately), this mod can deliver up to 100W for an authentic DTL (Direct To Lung) inhale. Plus, the 510 connection means that you’re able to pair it with a huge range of different vape tanks.
Features:
There are multiple modes that you can use to tailor how your vape works. Variable Wattage mode allows you to choose between an output of 5 - 100W, whereas Bypass mode simply delivers the most powerful vape possible. With VPC (Variable Power Curve) mode, your mod will reach multiple power levels in one inhale. Alternatively, you can also set exactly how hot your coil gets with Temperature Control mode.
This mod also features a large, full-colour 1.06 inch OLED display screen, so that navigating the Maxus Solo 100W menu system is clear and simple. Beyond that, the included USB-C cable means that charging your mod happens faster, so you spend more time vaping and less time waiting around. As well as that, because of the option to turn the wattage down, it also works well for MTL (Mouth To Lung) vaping, which also helps the battery to last for longer.

I use TC almost exclusively, so accurate TC was important. This has well surpassed my expectations.
Despite the mode feeling solid, it is plastic and won't cope too well with being dropped on a hard floor, but that is probably my only criticism. TC works flawlessly: Ti and Ni coils work well of course, but they are the easy ones. SS works fantastically well - an example: dual 24 AWG (10 wraps) contact coils produces a fantastic vape and is as good as a heavy build in watt mode. Exotics work well - the only build it struggled with is a dual coil contact clapton (but this still works in TCR mode with the same TCR value). I've not found a spaced coil that doesn't work.
I don't have a mod that handles contact coils in TC at all - this one does it perfectly if you don't go for an extreme low res build (for SS, probably above .2 is as low as want for accurate control).
OK, it doesn't have battery %, but that is really just a 'nice to have' - when it drops to one bar, recharge.
I don't go over 60w, and in TC, I don't really think you can realistically expect to get a build that requires you to go over, so for me, it perfect. Great piece of kit.

Had mine for a few weeks now, went for Cobalt Blue, and it has an orange resin Fireluke 3 on it. Stick the lights to orange, and it matches really well.
Even for a 21700 mod, it's a chunky beast. Yes, it's plastic and relatively lightweight but it still feels solid enough in the hand. The battery door latch is good too, no unintentional/unexpected "oops it pinged open in my pocket" like I've had with some other mods. The screen's nice and big, and clear, with all the usual helpful stuff, including a visual puff timer which is nice. The battery indicator doesn't read a percentage or set bars though, so it's not the easiest to judge how long you've got left.
I've been using 20700s in my rather than 21700s. I had them sitting here anyway and this is one of the few devices I have that they'll sit in without an adapter. I'm getting similar battery life to what I'd expect from the 21700s, too.

The Freemax Maxus Solo is an innovative piece of kit with recessed LED lights that give a awesome glow(can be turned off and customised),it has temperature control, a 510 connection to fit most tanks and the lock switch on the side is a great feature. The pictures don’t do it any justice making the mod look cheap! It looks and feels great in the hand and is anything but cheap. It’s a sturdy device and deserves a 10/10 in my opinion.

This battery is amazing I love the style I love the size I love the customisation that is available on the device... I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to vape clouds it's easy to use and the product feels good... only thing I missed on was they dont supply a battery with it and luckily I had plenty spare from previous mods

I was wanting to upgrade my old Innokin Coolfire Ultra to something more advanced, I particularly liked the Temperature Control mode on my Innokin so I narrowed down the mods that supported that, along with something that could utilise a 21700 battery to give out around 4000mAh. I chose this mod and am extremely happy with it.
It's relatively light and pleasing to hold, the LED lighting makes it look very modern and slick. The buttons are of nice quality, the menu system is easy to navigate with a nice amount of settings and the choice of vaping options caters for everyone. After experimenting with temperature control and other options, I tried the variable power curve mode and it gave me a perfect vape experience for my personal tastes. I tend to vape in 4 or 5 second bursts and I created a curve that gives me a very good hit with plenty of clouds and flavour with a very cool and mild draw.
I purchased a 21700 battery to power this mod and battery usage has been very good. A couple of hours during my working day and it was still fairly full when I got home. The LED lights certainly don't drain the battery, and can be turned off if you wish.
I coupled this mod with a Freemax M PRO 2 tank utilising the 0.2 ohm twin mesh coil, and wow! So much flavour and overall such a fantastic vaping experience. In comparison my old Innokin gives me a tasteless, hot and syrupy vape.
I highly recommend this mod if you don't need to be going over 100W. It's got what it takes to dish out the perfect vaping experience and looks lovely doing it.
