Thanks to its easy-to-read 1.08” display, the Aegis Legend 5 makes it simple to customise your vape and keep up-to-date on your power mode and battery level. Once it’s time to recharge, remove your batteries from the device and recharge them with an external battery charger. You can even lock your device when it’s not in use and prevent accidental firing with the slider on the side.
The Aegis Legend 5 features an AS 4.0 chipset which offers 5 power modes for added customisation: Smart Mode will automatically pick the best wattage for your coil, Normal Mode provides a balanced vape, Eco Mode helps extend battery life, Temperature Control allows you to pick the the temperature of your vape, or go for Custom Mode to choose your output yourself from the 5-200W range.

Vape ECIDs and GBIDs are a registration number confirming that a nicotine-containing vape product (including the hardware used to vape them) is legally notified and approved for sale by the MHRA. An approved notification means that the product has complied with the UK regulations, which includes submitting their ingredients list, emissions reports & toxicological dossier to ensure they adhere with the UK's Tobacco and Related Products Regulations (TRPR).
ECIDs were issued before 1st Jan 2021, and GBIDs are the same thing but for products notified from Jan 1st 2021. Essentially pre-Brexit and post-Brexit.

Quality As Usual (10 December 2025)
I love Geekvape mods, but the puff cut off is annoying. There's no option to adjust the length the way other models did and the haptic feedback when it goes off is a bit annoying, which you also can't disable.
Still don't know what the Battery Management is meant to do. When Googling it, neither do the people reviewing it and there's no information in the booklet. Luckily it can be turned off. I like the side switch to lock the device, but haven't had to test it yet. The battery door is easy to open, unlike previous models that required some use before loosening up.
The different modes are nice, but the mod has its own range of what it thinks the ideal power should be and may switch to a different one if you try to go up or down. Luckily Custom allows you to set it however you want to. The light choices are nice and the build is solid (on the heavier side, but I prefer that). Overall it's a nice mod, just wish I could change the puff cutoff nonsense.

Amazing mod and kit (05 December 2025)
Geekvape make such incredible kits and this mod is no exception. I like to switch between flavours during the day so have 2 of these kits now and a spare mod I love it that much! Being waterproof with the weather down here is a bonus! Very comfortable grip and I have small hands but this is super easy to hold and use and fire button is located perfectly for my thumb. The lock slide switch is a big upgrade on the Legend 3 smart lock I feel. It vibrates to let u know you've either locked or unlocked it and also to notify u that the batteries are down to last 10%. I haven't used any modes apart from custom mode as like to choose my own wattage. Can't recommend this highly enough and I've only been sub ohm since July and yet this kit for me is nice and easy to use. Excellent.

A significant upgrade (23 November 2025)
I wasn't very fond of my previous Aegis Legend 3's touch detection locking mechanism, so it's very nice to see the classic switch come back. Other than the slightly confusing menus at first, this is a very good mod

Upgrades! (15 November 2025)
This was a replacement for my Aegis Legend 2.
The build quality seems to be far better on this one. I'm not a fan of the vibration feature, but that's only a minor complaint.
I hope the battery door lasts a lot longer than on the Aegis Legend 2
