Important Information About Sub Ohm Vaping:
This device is intended for sub ohm vaping. Sub ohm vape kits require a greater amount of knowledge and experience to use safely. They use specially designed coils that register below 1.0 Ohm resistance, for use at higher wattages. These kits may also feature advanced modes that require a knowledge of vaping to be used correctly.
We recommend you do not use an e-liquid that has higher than a 6mg nicotine strength, this will be too harsh on the throat. Sub ohm vaping produces more vapour and because of this, an increased throat hit. High VG e-liquids will allow you to experience greater vapour production when used with this kit.

This is a great mod, and Vape Club are a great supplier, but sadly this mod is a donkey when it comes to reliability and I feel compelled to wave everyone off this one.
I have just had my second one of these fail in under a year, in exactly the same way: I got a couple of instances where it would not turn on immediately after a battery change, and then after some fussing it eventually powered up.....and it would be dead as a doornail a few weeks later.
I am not an expert on vape kit but I think the internals are configured so that any leak into the connector channels fluid into the electronics. Thats my best guess at least.
If you are looking for something cheap and temporary then in every other regard its a lovely vape, but I have never had two identical mods fail, let alone so quickly. Im now using my old iStick Pico as a back up. That might be 5 years old with a blown screen but it still toots like a champ.

I bought two of these and one failed to turn on even with new batteries after a week but was replaced under warranty.
10 months down the line, both mods have failed to turn on.
Only 6 months warrant offered. Even a wrist watch from the pound shop has a 1 year warranty.
You get what you pay for but expected better than this from Smok.

This is the second smok vape I have owned, and the second that has completely died for no reason. Vapes look like new. Smok support useless and will only recommend doing a software update on a device that won't give any power.
Needless to say I won't be buying another smok device. They are cheap for a reason.

Got this as i wanted a lightweight twin battery mod. Good to hold and weight is good. Fires nicely and looks good.
Ordered black version but received a silver one by mistake, a couple of e-mails to vape club and received the correct colour 2 days later. They refunded my postage costs for returning the silver one. Excellent customer service. Thank you Vape Club.

This is the second one of these i have purchased and both developed the same issue, keeps powering off saying battery low and won't power up again even with brand new 100% charged mollicel batteries. On the first device i put it down to the fact that i have dropped the device on a couple of occasions, but the second device has developed the same problem even quicker than the first one and this one has never been dropped. Having said that it is a great device when it is working.

The SMOK Rigel Mod, i bought this as i wanted a twin battery mod, i normally only use single battery mods, what attracted me to this mod was its size and form factor.
The mod itself feels a little plastic, not sure about the finish but in saying that the finish on most of SMOKS products never really lasted long and tended to wear quite quickly, anyhow the mod is nice to use and feels good in the hand.
Overall its good for the money.

My second review of this mod. My first review in April 2021 (after a few day's use) was very positive, but sadly as predicted in that review it hasn't lasted the course. It started playing up after 5 months regular use, i.e. worked intermittently, but I persevered and after 9 months it has finally given up. Mind you, most 'external battery' mods I've bought over the years (various brands) haven't lasted much longer either. I do wonder if 'throw away' internal battery mods are more cost-effective?

I have been using this now for a good few months without issue, as said by many others difficult to read battery levels due to small writing and bad clarity. Very light weight and portable vs all other dual battery mods
The only thing i find annoying is the fire button sometimes sticks on when letting go specifically if pressing it nearer top or bottom of button. Press directly in middle and no issue.
Battery swap is great, pull chord and out they pop, effortless to put them back in with chord behind ready for next change

Had this mod, in silver, for a few months.
Stains badly around the tank and the silver finish is wearing away all over the mod,
so now looks old & tatty.
In addition, display writing is very small, particularly the 'battery charge'.
Worst quality mod I've owned!

At first it was good, then after about a month it started to loose its power.
This only lasted me 5 months or so until it stopped working all together.

Only just got this as my Smok Alien 220 broke on me. Was only a quick back up as it's cheap and it's just as good, if not better, than the Alien. Simplistic, easy to use. No issues with it at all!

The mod is ergonomic, looks sleek and modern(if your bothered about that). Smok have pulled it out the bag with this one! It’s amazing for the price and way better than some of the more expensive mods out there, I’ve gladly recommended it to my friend to buy and I’ve only had the mod for 3 days. The buttons are easy to use and the power lock is wonderful for when I’m constantly on the move and it’s in my pocket, couldn’t of made a better choice of mod. The screen is easy to read and clear as day. 10/10 for price and how the vape feels and runs when in use!

for the price you pay and what it does i cannot complain one bit. normally you will see this coming with the smok tfv9 tank, however i have been using the mini v2 tank and it is just a wonderful the coils for the mini v2 are massive and the coils i have used in the range have been brilliant.

First impressions, very good. It's very compact for a double battery mod, in fact no larger than my single battery GeekVape Aegis Max, and much smaller & lighter than my other double battery mod. It's an ideal compromise - powerful enough to last a long while between charges, and small enough to carry around easily. It may even replace my other two mods as my daily device! Also like that it doesn't have unnecessary modes, i.e. TCR, VPC, etc. I only ever use Wattage mode so this is a fuss free & uncomplicated mod which is ideal for me. Yet to see how durable it is, my previous experiences with Smok products hasn't been good - they tend to break or malfunction easily, but for the money this looks like a good bet so far. Only slight negative is that the battery charge icons are hard to read - it displays in %age figures rather than in bars.

Smok Rigel, nice and handy mod, long lasting battery, as i use a RDA on it, only con is percents marked battery, what is barely visible, another pron is a quick charging, like this mod, pretty nice, also service from Vape Club as usual reliable and proffesional
