Bought several months ago. Great mod and couldn't fault until a couple of days ago. Fire button stopped working and will not click when pressed. The button has become sponge like and now difficult to swith on and off. Search the Web and found out other people having same problems with the buttons. I am so disappointed and will have to purchase another mod but not the vaporesso.

At the time of writing, mine is just a couple of months shy of being 2 years old and it's still going strong and working as well as the day I received it (now watch as that statement proves to be the kiss of death :D ) It does everything I need it to, does it simply and effectively and is, in fact, capable of much more. It's lasted longer than any previous mod I've owned and it'll be a new one of the same that I replace it with when the time comes. I have no hesitation in recommending it!

All in, this is a great little mod. Fits nicely in the hand, light in the pocket. The dimpled surface helps to hold it securely. It's got an easy to use magnetic battery cover: other mods I've used have spring and latch systems that are often fiddly to close. Despite just lifting off, it holds in place well.
The 'smart vw' system does a good job at adjusting the wattage to the minimum your coils will work at. I often turn it up a few watts for added flavour, but it gets pretty close to the perfect setting.
The only big issue I have with it is accessibility. If you have anything less than perfect vision (I occasionally wear glasses for very small type), there'll be moments when it is hard to use. Both involve pretty basic design errors.
The positive and negative marks are moulded into the black plastic of the battery tray. Without exactly the right angle of light falling on them, they're unreadable.
The LCD display, while small, is on the whole well designed. It's a slightly funny choice to lay it out along the length of the case (so it's sideways when holding the mod), but understandable given the size.
The big mistake is in how the battery charge percentage is shown. The percentage is shown using single pixel black (well, unlit) type against the background of a white battery image. While the same size white-on-black type used for other metrics is easy for me to read, the faint glow of the battery image makes this impossible for me to see. Scrapping the battery image and using the same white-on-black type would make it much clearer. Hopefully they can fix this with a firmware update.

This mod... It's just amazing.
The 'pulse' feature is by far and away the greatest feature I've ever come across on a box mod. The ability to run my Freemax Mesh Pro with all the flavour in the world is irreplaceable and it's all thanks to the Gen. It's a phenomenal mod, uses batteries well, and feels unbelievable in the hand.
Every time I go to buy a new mod I find myself scrolling to look for anything comparably good as this. Only thing I have a con about is the button... Please Vaporesso, give us the option to black it out.
Couldn't love it more, though!

This is a very light mod, even with batteries inside of it. Despite this, as everyone has mentioned in every review ever, it doesn't feel cheap even though it's so light. On top of that the coating used gives it a nice and smooth feel in the hand while the bumps make it grippy af. As another plus, at least for me, when I took it out of the box it had the same smell as the old phones (pre smartphone era) did when they were brand new out of the box.
Battery life with a couple of VTC6 is okayish. It lasts for almost a full day while chain vaping @50W in pulse mode while eco mode seems to give me ~20% more battery life. But your mileage might vary. Charging is somewhat fast. Using a Samsung 2A fast charger the batteries charge in about 2h.

Honestly, this is the best mod I've had, it's a perfect weight. It really doesn't feel like a dual 18650 mod, all dual mods I've had have been super heavy.
The material is great and feels like how a premium mod should feel like.
I love the pulse mode, it fires instantly. I'd highly recommend one.

I purchased this mod on a whim after using the vaporesso cascade tank for around a year & half, decided to upgrade from smoke and haven’t looked back. Comfortable fit in your hand, the axon chip makes it easy to figure out what wattage to fire at for different coils, been using a dovplo blotto tank with this and found it produces strong clouds but now upgraded to the Zeus X mesh, the settings are easy to navigate even if it’s a completely different style of box mod

Excellent mod, really nice materials give it a good in hand feel, all metal construction with rubber like cover give good grip. Loads of menus and customisation. The screen is simple but for me, means less likely to break! Good battery life. Good clouds and flavour too. Can't say a bad thing about it at this price point

I've been on pod systems for a while now and was looking to get back into a more robust mod that had some style to it. This thing ticked both of those boxes and I'm very happy with the purchase. As others have mentioned, a fire button lock would be nice but otherwise can't see any cons at the moment. Overall very happy with the mod and vapeclubs fantastic service!

If you want a mod to last less than 2 months then look no further! i purchased this on 2nd April and the buttons have stopped working for no reason. For the price im expecting a long lasting product, at least a year. Avoid this at all costs, spend a few extra pounds and get reputable mod.

I would have preferred it to have a lock for the fire button but the power can be locked so you dont accidentally put it right up and burn the coil

Really nice dual battery mod, i was getting a bit bored of pods so went back to my hellbeast tank and got this mod, feels great in the hand, has a sort of soft grippy feel to it but not rubber. A little on the tall side but very light weight. I got the purple one which looks great and with the gradient black looks good with either a purple or black tank. There is no button rattle or play on the battery magnet door its a tight fit. Would recommend this mod. Great fast service from VC as ever, thanks!

I bought this mod because I tried my daughter's and instantly fell in love. Holds battery charge really well. Feels lovely to hold, smooth and soft. The back comes off easily with the magnetic back. The magnets are strong though so you won't have to worry about it falling off. A bit on the large side but that's not a negative. It looks classy. I got the purple one with the Geekvape Zeus tank in rainbow. Interface is easy to navigate with good useful features. Now vaping is a delicious dream :)

I ummed and ahhed about which mod to get for ages, wondering if this was more expensive than my needs justified but after seeing countless good reviews just took the plunge.
Don't have a single complaint. Build quality is excellent. All the different functions are useful and deliver appropriately. Eco mode is great for when you realise you don't have spare batteries on you!
No rattle on doors or buttons. The magnet is strong and the door never falls off accidentally.
I love the material - comfortable in the hand and light weight. Doesn't scratch or show fingerprints.
Just a note - don't charge through the device - buy a separate battery charger. This is the same for any mod, but this one as well will you give you funny measurements and is a bit unpredictable.

I've had this mod for a few days now and man it really is awesome. It fires instantly. Pulse is really good it hits hard from when you start dragging till you let go of the button. It does however eat through batteries pretty quickly. I've had it four days now and already have 2000 hits on it. I've tried eco and vw mode both are really good but I prefer the hit on pulse. The mod is really well made and super easy to use. The menu is foolproof, screenwise it's very clear, however a little outdated but how often do you really look at it. I have the blue gradient and it looks really sleek with my blue crown 4. I can't recommend this mod enough. Go on get it you won't be disappointed. Plus it's really well priced for the quality.

I love this mod. It looks slick in Black/Red, is the perfect size for my hands, and is very nice to hold.
Buttons feel nice and sturdy with no loud clicking when operating. Screen is nice and clear, easily visible. It has all the features I need (and a few I don't right now).
Pulse mode is excellent on a single coil setup and I can really taste the difference running the same wattage on my old mod on identical tank setup. But so far I prefer Curves (CCW) for the dual coils so I can give it an initial boost to heat up quickly before dropping to normal wattage. On a single fused clapton at 0.4ohms there was no delay when firing.
Its finished beautifully, feels solid (no creaking like the Innokin Proton), and there is no rattle or movement from the magnet battery cover when in place.

This is an excellent mod. The best one I have at the moment. It's comfortable to hold, has a lot of great features, although I normally use variable wattage, or bypass mode. Nice clear screen, and packs a punch. It looks great too, I have the black and red one, looks very slick with a black atomizer. Excellent service from VC, as always. Nice to see them stocking more new mods, as I have pod system fatigue now.
