These are pretty good to save a bit of money on prefilled pods, i've had an odd one leak, but over all really good, last really.well before the coil burns out too. Good couple of weeks with medium amounts of vaping.

A Guide To Preventing Leaks (04 August 2024)

I've used these pods for a few months and initially I had all the leaking problems described in other reviews.
This is my method for prevention, and it's worked well for me.
1st - Only fill about a 1/3rd to begin with, just covering the wick. You must allow a good length of time for that wick to soak. I'm leaving mine about 30 minutes or so. Then fill normally and enjoy.
2nd - A "full fill" for me is leaving a decent gap below the filling hole, or a couple of mm gap when standing pod vertically. Do not over-fill.
3rd - Use a tissue or kitchen towel to make sure the pod is completely dry - especially around filling hole - before use.
Lastly, I use a cotton bud to make such the device is dry before inserting pod.
These pods do leak and are also very prone to filling device with condensation - but I've found a way to make it work for me.

Love the vape and having the refillable pods makes it more cost effective. It can be a bit fiddley to fill but delivers a good hit of flavour.

Leaking breaks your vape. (22 July 2024)

Great if you want to control your nicotine rather than using the pre-filled pods at 2% however after purchasing these multiple times I’ve found at least one out of each two pack leaks which ultimately ends up breaking the vape

Great that you can use it with not just the Elfa pro but also the Lost Mary Tappo, not great when they destroy your vape within a day from leaking.

Love how easy these are to use but sadly found they leak terribly. Having to keep replacing them is costing more than it did using the pre-filled pods. Reluctant to purchase any more.

Poor design and Leaky (14 June 2024)

Short review: I'm glad they exist because it's the only refillable option for ELFA, but they are pretty poorly manufactured and leak constantly so I can't recommend to anyone. Avoid until they figure out some of these issues.

I was initially really excited to see that Elfbar had finally made a refillable pod, I'd been wasting money on the prefilled ones for months, forced to vape at the maximum nicotine strength. I tried branching out to other MTL systems but nothing works as well for me as Elfbar products so as soon as I saw there was a way to use everything I've been used to but simply reduce nicotine strength, I jumped on it.
But unfortunately these are a bit of a disappointment.
I'm giving them at least 2 stars for the fact that firstly, they exist, and an option is better than nothing at all, and that when they work, it's a pleasant experience, but mostly because it's hardly any different from the prefilled pod experience since it's all the same coils/meshes etc.
The main problem is that they LEAK all the damn time. With the tank bung fully sealed up and the pod seated exactly how it's supposed to (it's hard to get it wrong with these) the bottom of the chamber where the pod sits will be dripping with juice in an hour. I was wondering why a full tank only lasted me a few hours when a prefilled one with the same contents used to last me days, well it's because about a day of liquid oozes out of these things if you even slightly jostle it around. And to assure you, I bought 6 of these and I've experienced the same level of juice explosion on every single one.

Another complaint is that the hole to fill these up is in a bizarre position that only lets you fill to less than half, unless you hold it at an extremely awkward angle, but filling it past half further increases the risk of leaking.

I'm looking forward to another iteration of the design that irons all this BS out, but until then I'm stuck with this rubbish.

Exactly as described. Easy to fill and no leakage as yet so it's all good. Price is good too and much cheaper than buying pre filled pods constantly.

I have always used pre-filled pods since quitting smoking 2 years ago & was keen to try this new refillable pod system. Everything seemed ok after first use, then on second refill the pod started leaking. I persevered until it started damaging my kit. Tried 2nd pod and all seemed ok for a while, then started leaking again, so badly the kit overheated badly until my kit is now unusable. Luckily I have a spare kit so have now returned to using pre-filled pods as I’ve never experienced any problems with these. I’d give this product no stars if I could.

fantastic flavour (14 May 2024)

tried my fav fruit liquid in this, NAsty fat boy, and wow, so much more flavour than what ive had from the same exact juice in an Innokin Endura t18ii and FLTR, Pocke-X, Smoke Stick n2.
Brings out the sweetness in any liquid.

You can use these in a lost mary tappo which is better than the elfa pro in my opinion (better battery).

SOME (VERY MINOR) CONS:
-The pods are still quite expensive at £6 for a dual pack (still cheaper than most disposables).
- Rarely leak.
- Rarely after a fill up they gargle: Just blow down the mouthpiece with tissue at the other end to clear.
-Quite difficult to get a full refill
-Quite difficult to see how much is inside (have to hold up to the light).

Overall rating - 10/10

A great alternative to disposable pods (11 May 2024)

The flavour from these is amazing. Just as good as the prefilled Elfbar pods but you can refill them. works with elfliq or any 50/50 eliquid. Only downside is how long the coil lasts. Flavour starts to drops off after the first 10ml and is completely gone after 20ml. This is still makes them a lot cheaper then prefilled pods.

Been waiting for a product like this for a long time (27 April 2024)

Thought it was time to move over to a pod system prepping for disposable ban . I have tried the non leaking vaporesso pods that DO leak and so do aspire .
These really DO NOT leak and the flavours with the elfliq are very close to disposable which is what I was after .
I vape fairly heavy and on day 3 with same pod used around 5ml juice so far and still flavour is good .
Not sure if anyone can share roughly the amount of liquid they have put through a single pod ?
I was using the fabulous Elfbar AF5000 which flavours are incredible but I’m very happy to persevere with these pods . I would highly recommend to purchase at least 2 Elfa pro pens as battery don’t last that long and takes quite a while to charge . So don’t hesitate this is a super product and look forward to the coming soon flavours and this method will work out out soooo cheap over a year .
