The Lost Vape Orion Mini pod vape kit is a small and reliable option that’s very easy to use. This kit is powered by a built-in 800mAh battery and can be recharged in an hour. Capable of an 18W max output it has been designed to create small clouds and delivers an authentic MTL (Mouth To Lung) vape. Small enough to fit in your pocket, it includes everything you’ll need to get started with an Orion Mini pod and two UB Mini coils in every kit.
Features:
You won't have to worry about a lengthy setup or constantly having to adjust your kit, a combination of a smart chipset and single button operation makes first-time use and everyday vaping very simple. The chip will recognise exactly which coil you’ve installed and automatically select the best power level for it. Click the power button five times to switch the device on and click the button again to vape. When you’re done, lock the kit by pressing the button five times again.
Each Orion Mini vape pod will hold up to 2ml of e-liquid and you can pick any flavour you like. Adding liquid to your pod is very simple thanks to the side-filling design of the pod, just remove the rubber insert to reveal a large filling port. Each pod is also fitted with an adjustable airflow that gives you the option of switching between a tight or loose inhale. When it comes to e-liquid, we recommend either a 50/50 e-liquid or high PG option; nic salts are a popular choice if you’re looking for a smoother throat hit.

I'm a bit picky about the look of my vape, so the fact it looks a bit like a star trek radio or retro type device was a plus, although I wish they'd done a gold one like the last version. It's been going for a while now and little to no wear and tear, just a couple of scratches on the metal. The only issue I've had is occassionally the coil replacments will burn out far too quickly, but it's been about 1 in every 2 pack of 5 coils that this has happened and the coils last well otherwise.

The Lost Vape Orion Mini sees Lost Vape back on form after the misstep which was their Squonk Kit.
This sees the return of the Orion line which seemed to disappear after the Q-Ulta release of 2020, and what a return it is.
This really is a back to basics kit from Lost Vape, you just get the one button that is it, this acts as your power on / off and fire button, below that you have a small battery indicator light and that’s it.
The pod slots in nicely and the magnets hold it in place really well, there is a rubber flap on the side of the pod to fill you juice it is sufficient in size to take large bottles. I would say the flap does seem to be quite flimsy; it is not the most robust one out there. The coils are replaceable, once the coil is done just replace it, less waste! The side of the pod has an adjustable airflow slider, which can go from MTL to a restricted DTL depending on your personal preference.
The coils, given their size, produce a really good flavour and a decent cloud, obviously they can’t compete with sub ohm tanks and RDAs in that area but decent nonetheless. I have thrown 70VG juice at them and they handled them well, even though I suspect Nic Salt or a 50VG or less juice would be better suited.
It is the size where this comes into its own for me, it is tiny, so pocket friendly, the height is roughly the same as a boxed 10ml bottle, with only the top end of the drip stopping it from being smaller, the depth and width are the same so small. Despite the small size it fits in the hand really comfortably. It also weighs next to nothing which again makes it pocket friendly ideal when out and about.
If I had one criticism of this kit it would be that it doesn’t have an autodraw function, for me it just seems like a small error in a kit that wants to appeal to those moving from disposables to a basic kit.
Despite this, Lost Vape have done a wonderful job with this kit apart from two minor criticisms I can’t find any further faults. If you are looking for something a bit more advanced than a disposable then this is the one, unless you're adverse to pushing buttons of course ;)
