Providing a distinct elegance to vaping, the Uppen boasts a removable mouthpiece cover which features an 18K gold clip. When the vape kit is in use, the cover can be inserted onto the base of the kit, whilst an inhale activation showcases the device’s simplicity. The 600mAh battery provides a lengthy lifespan between charges, with a range of safety protections including short circuit, overcharge and pass-through charging delivering a secure vape experience.
The Uppen 2ml replacement pods feature a unique antibacterial clarinet-style mouthpiece, delivering comfort and safety when inhaling. To refill, simply unplug the silicone stopper on the side of the pods and fill with e-liquid before securing back in. A practical magnetic connection makes inserting the pods a hassle-free process. The 1.2 Ohm coil utilises flax cotton fibre wick to extract maximum flavour, whilst the mesh ETCHIP technology greatly reduces the chance of spitback. We recommend pairing with high PG e-liquids of 50% and above, whilst also being compatible with salt nicotine e-liquids for a smooth throat hit.

Aesthetically, the Uppen is great. It's discreet, pocket-friendly and doesn't resemble a vape pen to the uninitiated so you can get away with having it lying around on your desk or table without giving away your little habit. That is, until you lose the cap! It doesn't feel cheap, and has a decent weight to it. It also comes with a quality, braided USB cable.
In terms of function, the battery life is good with the added bonus of being able to use the device whilst on charge. The draw is tight which is perfect for MTL vaping, and the flavour is outstanding.
I wanted to give this a good run before I submitted a review and so I've had this a few months now. I have since replaced it. It is let down by the inconsistency of the coils (I have reviewed these separately so I'll refrain from discussing them here). I also found that it would start to cut out midway through a draw. I don't know if this is related to the hit-and-miss quality of the coils/pods or the device itself but it is frustrating. It is prone to gurgling on occasion, especially when the power drops, which can result in a gob-ful of juice owing to the tightness of the draw. It can also gurgle if it's been left on it's side.
All-in-all, this is a promising device with excellent flavour but Upends really needs to address the issues with the hit-and-miss quality of the pods.

My boss (originally got me into vaping 5years ago) brought me one of these as a present. Think he got tired of my massive mod and tank on the table in meetings lol.
But its actually a nice little pen. Most people don't even realise its a vape until i show them. Well made with great flavour but I do get fair use out of it.

Great pen, pretty big smoke cloud for a pen! Antibacterial tip is nice, good battery life, it rarely leaves my hand and still lasts all day, nice design, pods last a long time even with a sweeter juice and also cheaper to replace than standard coils.
The only thing that let it down for me a tad is that you dont really get that throat hit, it's more just an airy smoke rather than getting that hit, some people will prefer that but I do like to feel like you have had a toke. Overall would definitely recommend, great for the price, absolutely worth the money!
