The Caliburn Explorer pod kit by Uwell is a beginner-friendly device that offers more customisation than a standard pod vape. It features an innovative 2ml split-pod design, which allows you to easily vape two different flavours and coils on the go. Thanks to the wide range of compatible Caliburn G coils and 36W max power output, you can effortlessly switch between MTL (Mouth To Lung) or RDTL (Restricted Direct To Lung) vaping styles. Plus, the large 1000mAh built-in battery will last for longer between charges.
The Caliburn Explorer balances unique features with a beginner-friendly design. The “four-leaf clover” button on the front of the device controls which half of your pod is activated. Press the left or right buttons to activate the corresponding coil. Press down, and your device will switch coils with every inhale. You can even press up to activate both coils at once, allowing for an inhale that delivers a fusion of both of your chosen flavours in one puff.
Caliburn Explorer pods are divided into two halves, each with its own coil and a side-filling port, so you can top up each pod with two different flavours and keep them separate. The Explorer is compatible with Caliburn G and G2 coils which all work best with 50% VG e-liquids. Lower-resistance options provide a looser inhale, while higher-resistance coils deliver a more restricted puff. You can also rotate the pod to increase or decrease the airflow.

There's so much wrong with this device, but it has one simple thing going for it. The flavour.
If you're familiar with the Caliburn series, you'll know that those tiny little coils are amazing for flavour. This device steps it up a notch, with better draw and double the punch. There's simply no better way of enjoying a good juice.
It will drive you crazy though. As delivered it's crippled by the TPD, with two tiny chambers which hold less than 1ml each. This is impossible to live with, a few puffs and the coils run dry - an expensive mistake to replace two burnt coils. Ebay is your friend here and it's possible to get the original reservoir which will hold about three times as much juice and makes it much easier to see when you're running dry - absolutely essential.
The button is useless and just a menace, it's supposed to allow you to switch between double shot, one shot and alternating. The idea is that you have two different flavours in each chamber. You probably won't want to do that, so what the button actually does is accidentally trigger one shot, meaning that one chamber runs dry in double time. Not good. Don't touch the button.
Battery life is poor and charging is slow. Filling is fiddly and annoying,

Great to see Uwell have tried something new and Innovative however, when using both flavours at the same time say good bye to your battery. Massively decreases and barely lasts the whole day. No mew could tech, so still leaking coils but good to see a difference

Not a fan at all! the smok novo mini 4 is so much better, it’s like going from driving a Porsche to driving at corsa. Flavour isn’t amazing, battery life is terrible 4 hours and it needs to be charged again. The calliburn G was amazing in comparison and that lasted me 4 months before it was leaking and loosing charge rapidly.
Wouldn’t purchase again or suggest it to anyone just looks cool and preforms shit.
