Bought this vape as an alternative to disposable vapes in July 2022. Now in March 2024 and this bad boy is still going. Brilliant battery life, charges fully in less than an hour. Flavours are brilliant. Have recommended to a number of friends and all agree. Replacement coils are affordable and can last a number of weeks. Definitely better than other similar vapes I’ve tried.

I used the previous model which had the coils pre installed in the pods, which was really handy, but this one you have to install the coil into the pod, which is a bit annoying. But other than that it works well, plenty of flavour from the 1.2 coil.

I purchased this vape after a lot of research, as when I first gave up smoking I was using disposable vapes. Which were costing almost as much as smoking!
I didn’t want to have a big chunky thing to have to carry around and have lots of bits to have to change .
This vape is great! You don’t have lots of bits and bobs to keep changing, pop coil in to the bottom of the pod fill up and your done!!! Slips in to your pocket and copes with being dropped ever now and again without breaking!! Some reviewers say that it leaks now and again but I’ve only ever had it when you need to put a new pod in. Great vape and replacement parts don’t cost the earth 👍🏻

I've originally started with the Caliburn and have stuck with them through each vape they've brought out since and they are the best on the market IMO. Charge very quick. I use the 0.8 ohm coil for the best flavour and nic salts juice.

Really disappointed with uwell now, the pods on these are super leaky and the tips of them are really brittle and end up breaking much quicker than the caliburn G1's
Coil life has gone down the drain, they used to last a week but now after one day they start discolouring the liquid and burning, even after all the usual coil maintenance of pre-soaking the wick and leaving it for a good while before pulling from it. Not sure if its the cotton quality or poor fitting of the mesh but something has turned south with their QA
Switched to vaporesso and havent looked back, those pods last 3-4 weeks and have never leaked at all!

A good all round vape for daily use, great great flavour, their coils seem to produce way more flavour than others. However coils are slightly more expensive than other brands.

Why o why, did I not listen to previous reviews. it’s a great little number if you don’t plan on using it for a long time it will leak, the pod will crack and eventually due to continuous leaking the fire pulse will start to go off on its own, burning your coils.

As the title says, I had to send 2 of these back for a refund. Both of them ended with the same defect (possibly a bad batch from manufacturer).
After a few weeks they wouldn't charge and would constantly vibrate ( the vibration you get when you put them to charge).
When they where working they were pretty good. Great inhale activation and the firing button was pretty responsive. The pod mouthpiece did break on one of them quite early on though.

This was my first venture into Vape Kits. Good little kit that comes with a spare coil (1.2 instead of the 0.8 installed). I prefer to stick to the 0.8 personally. I tend to have the adjustable value fully open to maximise the draw and flavour (proabaly as I have migrated from the big SMOK devices). Good battery life, but doesnt last as long as the Vaporesso.
Nice feel to the vape, and a useful feature to have the button in case it doesnt fire when inhaling, although I havent had any real need to use this.
I havent had any isssues with leaking, however my friend who also has one has had this occur, but he leaves his in the car and believes it could be down to the change in temperatures (leaks when it gets cold).
The only con is the cap, which is quite a tight fit and can be a pain to remove. Because of this, the plastic mouthpiece can snap on the lugs (this has happened to me twice now). You can purchase replacement pods for minimal cost, so not a major gripe, just an inconvenience if it occurs and you do not have any spares. It loses a couple of stars due to this.
Overall, would still definately recommend.

I've been using this device for more than 8 months and I cannot agree more with other commenters re leaks - the pods are leaking a lot and I think the ventilation wheel is to blame really. I've kept changing pods and coils, but the problem persists no matter what I do. Will keep it until breaks but will defo move back to Caliburn G which did not have issues like this.
Good device otherwise but can't really give more than 3 due to too often leaks.

I've been using this kit for a couple of a months now and it does everything I need.
The battery lasts me a day at the very least and charges up nice and quickly, it can also be used whilst its being charged too.
The pod fills up nice and easilly and Ive not experienced and leakage. I'd maybe recommend swapping the pods every now and then as theyre not easy to clean.
The amount of vape produced is sufficient, flavours come through well too!

Been using this for about a year and I won't use anything else anymore. They keep making the caliburn better. Not had major leak issues, definitely not compared with other vapes. Coil life is incredible and pods last a while.
If you want a simple vape that'll last you through the day and can take a battering then this is it. Recommend it to anyone who's starting vaping.

I’ve had this vape for over a year and it is still working. It’s definitely showing signs of wear - the vibration motor broke when I dropped the vape, the charging light doesn’t always work and the battery I’d not as good as it used to be. But it still does what I need and I think I’ll get another year out of it. Definitely recommend to anyone moving away from disposable vapes.

I had high hopes for the Caliburn G2. It seemed like a little step up from what I was already using. Replaceable coils, adjustable airflow, 3 different power levels all resulting in a good throat hit and tonnes of flavour.
And all those things are true. I loved this kit. For the first couple of hours. Unfortunately, the rumours from users about it leaking are not exaggerated.
I'd seen the comments online, and also seen all the tips online for how to stop the leaking. I tried them all, and nothing solved the problem. Put the G2 down for 30 minutes, then come back to it to find juice oozing out. Having to refill 3 times as quickly, because 2/3 of what you put into it will end up all over your hands and the battery connector, plus over whatever you sit it in or on.
I bought pods from different suppliers, tried every tip I found, and nothing worked. After a fortnight I gave up and binned it. Hugely frustrating, as it vapes brilliantly. Probably the best vape I've ever tried. So to have it ruined by the terrible leakage is frustrating. As is, it's unusable for me.

I started out with the caliburn with disposable pods and moved over to this one and wouldn't go back, so easy to use. Have a nice draw on it, providing you find a liquid you like the flavour is lovely too.
I recommend this vape to anyone who is trying to stop smoking as it is so easy to use and isn't too dissimilar to a tab draw

Loved this vape at first, it’s great when it’s working ok, but it does nothing but leak. I bought a new pod and put a new coil in but within 24 hours it was leaking it’s so frustrating. Battery quite poor aswel. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend.

Tried a few pod systems and this one is by far the best. Nice design, feels premium and the flavours it gives off is superior then every other. Thr coils also last ages.
I've noticed a few reviews mentioning issues with leaking. Mine has only leaked once and I figured out why. When cleaning the pod make sure you let it dry up completely before filling it up. Water can seep into the little clips and I'm guessing that's where the liquid is seeping out. When you completely dry it out there's zero leaks. Give that a try.

I've only been running it for about 2 weeks, so I can't speak to the product lifespan.
The combination of this and the elf liq is by far the best vape I've had for flavour longevity.
I've had no leakage issues that I've seen other mention, but I know rubber o rings do degrade in time.

In a nut shell..
Very lightweight. 0.8 ohm coil flavour is on point and kinda long lasting. Charge time very fast.
However..it does leak even with a fresh coil inserted, which is frustrating. Battery life is poor, im not a 'heavy user' but this device no way lasts the day, not even half a day for me.

I bought this to replace my previous Caliburn G since the battery died after 9 months from inevitable leaks. While the G2 is an excellent upgrade in terms of battery, flavour quality and colours, it unfortunately died much quicker than my previous one. This one has lasted me only 3 months with pod after pod leaking as soon as I’d fill it with ejuice.
I really wish I could give a better rating for this - I REALLY want to like it because the flavour and battery life are THAT good, but I can’t justify replacing something that’ll barely fire when I need it and break every few months. No matter how many replacement pods I’ve tried for the G2, they leak almost instantly and now the battery is fried and can never connect to the pods, which is really frustrating and disappointing to only get 1 puff every 20+ click/clean attempts.
Although this might be super reliable for others and my experience is just a risk or bad luck, unfortunately I’ve lost my faith in Caliburn as the risks are too high and expensive if it happens to fail, which it has for me several times now. If you like having more than 1 pod kit for different nicotine levels and flavours or need a backup, this might be a better option instead of relying on it as your only/main vape.

I was recommended this kit by a friend at work. I love the ease of use. It feel great in the hand and changing the coil and refilling the pods is very easy. It last all day on one charge which is good fo me because I never have it out of my mouth. The flavours come through nicely and just the right amount of vapour, I don’t like the ones that give off big clouds. I started using this a few weeks ago to get off the fags and it has done the trick.

Bought this after I quit smoking. Used mainly with Nic Salts and can say that I haven’t had a cigarette since. Easy to fill, change coil and maintain, charges incredibly quick too! Had no problems with any leaks so would recommend this to anyone for a first vape if they’ve quit smoking and to stick with it. Good pocket sized vape too so convenience is an added bonus

While I like the vape itself, the pods are leaky which let it down, the pods leak directly into the unit and I’ve been having to clean it out regularly which is a hassle.
Otherwise a decent vape, good battery life, good flavour. But unfortunately due to the leak I’ve upgraded.

This could be a great little kit, the design, battery life and ease of use is superb but for me there was a big downside, leaking pods.
The first pod that came with the device was great, refilled several times over a week and then it started to leak.
I had ordered some spare pods and these were worse, some leaked on the first fill and once they leak it leaks into the device itself.
For me leaking is a major fail so it went into the bin.

I opened the box to find a small cute looking device that looked like it was not going to stand up to the job, man was I wrong!!
this little guy packs a punch and is a game changer for me being able to adjust the airflow on the pod , I have vaping Holy Cow strawberry milkshake in it and I LOVE IT!
there has been no drop in flavour with the coils and it charges nice and fast too
And YES you CAN vape it when it's charging.

I bought this pod vape as I wanted to quit smoking but regular vapes had been a bit too much hassle for me in the past. I also liked the taste of disposables and the way they hit, but hated the wastage that they cause.
This seemed like a nice device to sort of meet in the middle. The fact you can replace the coils, pods, and refill the pods ticked all the boxes to try and reduce waste and stop smoking.
The haptic feedback is a nice addition, especially to let you know it's fully charged. The battery lasts me 2 days of fair use before I charge it, I've not had it die on me yet!
Pairing this with Bar Juice 5000 has fully emulated the disposable vapes to me - and saved me a pretty penny in the process.

Been using this product for about 2 months now and I'll say I've enjoy every minute. Good MTL device. I've used the un2 0.8 ohm coil for flavour and the UN 1.2 ohm for liquids that tend to be a little sharper on the throat.

I have used these for a while now so ill give you my thoughts. They are
Very durable
Support type C charging
Small and lightweight
Don't overheat even when charging (most of the time)
OK battery life (Watts can't be changed so will always last the same amount of time from full charge)
Great replica of smoking (MTL hit)
Great in comparison to cost
Coils take a VERY long time to burn, and most likely become flavourless before a burning taste
Inhale triggered coil (no need to hold the button down to use)
BUT
The wick is not at the very bottom of the pod, so it will contain liquid in the pod without reaching the coil wick (only a little bit)
Doesn't generate the best flavour (even the mesh coils)
Could do with better wick material to soak up the liquid faster, as constant use will burn more liquid than what can be soaked up
Sometimes liquid leaks into the airflow (losing up to a full fill, rarely)
Overall this is a solid pod if a simple, portable, reliable pod is what your looking for.
Hopefully Uwell take their profits and improve on the coil, as they have before.
But given this pod manages to achieve so much on such a small, compact vape I would definitely recommend this vape. Its cheap enough to not worry about wasting money if you decide to upgrade later, or possibly buy better coils for the pod if they release them.
Another note is that the G2 supports changing of coils if they burn or a coil gets stained. Unlike the G pod which essentially means wasting liquid in the pod when you have to buy a whole new pod.

You can’t really go wrong with any of the Caliburns from Uwell. Always superb performance, flavour and well made for a pod device. The G2 is no exception. Following on from the Caliburn G the G2 now has two e liquid level windows front and back an airflow control wheel on the pod itself and joining them is haptic feedback so the device vibrates when you connect and disconnect the pod. All in all a very reliable well made pod device that vapes great. Also compatible with the original Caliburn G coils.

After quitting disposables i went through a number of devices from box mods, rebuildable coils, sub ohm, and so on trying to find something comparable.
This is the closest i have gotten so far.
I had recently got the GK2. and that uses the same pod and coil, i wanted the same great flavour in a pen style so got this too. Best one i have tried so far!
One down side is it can leak a little sometimes, however far less than the Geekvape Aegis FC i also tried recently The Aegis spat an unhealthy amount of nic salt in my mouth and leaked a full tank.

Been using disposables for 4 months after quitting smoking and they are costly, swapped to this and I couldn't be happier. Teamed up with 1.2ohm coils and bar juice 5000 vape juice it's so so so similar to disposables and at about 1/4 of the costs. So happy I found this and listened to the reviews, they are all true! This is a very good alternative to disposables and pre-filled pods.

If your looking for the best MTL experience or just trying to save money on disposables then this is probably the best kit you can get when paired with the 1.2 coils and 50/50 liquid. Not sure why they put a button on it because there's no way to turn off inhale activation or switch between modes which makes it pointless to have. At least it's flush with the frame so accidentally firing in your pocket and burning the coil isn't too likely but still possible as you can't disable it without turning off the device. Airflow control is good but the design isn't perfect so be careful not to fill it up too fast as liquid can pour out from the bottom but otherwise still a great MTL device for salts especially.

All you need to do is buy juice and coils regularly which comes cheaper than disposables.

Ive been looking for a vape with the same feel as a disposable for a while now and ive got to say..this is the closest ive found. It does leak a little bit but much less then other vapes.

I've been using one of these for a little over a month now and feel it deserves some praise.
In that time I've had no leaks across three pods. I've used different combinations of juices and coils to see what works best. My all-day goto is the 1.2 coil with Bar Juice 20mg. The coils last around a week or two.
The 0.8 coils also work well with 6mg or 10mg salt nic juice. I found these coils too much with 20mg nic salt.
I generally plug the device into a power bank and recharge in the afternoon then its good to go for the rest of the day. Very quick to charge, under 30 mins.
Adjustable airflow is great as different juices benefit from a tighter or looser draw. Only way I can think some people are having leaks with these is if you don't line the coil up right with the flat notch when you install it.
I've gone from 15ml of juice a day on my sub ohm (50-55w) to approx 3ml a day using this. Its all but completely replaced my bigger builds. Just as satisfying, but tiny in size and discrete.
Having 2-3 pods means you can have multiple flavours/strenghs ready to vape on a whim too. That was an unexpected bonus of switching to a pod setup. Strongly recommend

Was in the market for a new vape device and decided to buy this pod system. I heard great things about the original Caliburn so buying the G2 seemed like a no brainer for me.
The device itself is sleek, lightweight and built well. I've only used the 1.2 coil and the flavour I was getting was fantastic. It also seems to be lasting long which is another bonus.
Last but not least. Finally I have a device that uses USB-C. I can finally do away with my old style USB cable.

I love my caliburn. When it broke due to water damage i bought another one straight away. However, the pods are SO LEAKY!!! I seem to constantly be replacing them. Not only that, but the leak pools right into the base and soaks the battery, which is what broke my old Caliburn. Breaks my heart, because i love this little thing. If you enjoy smelling like a child who's eaten a whole packet of haribos and dribbled in your bag at work then the caliburn g2 is for you!

product leaks do not buy waste of money

I have already reviewed this device and gave it a really good score. However, after I had the device a few months, it just deteriorated really quickly.
The battery stared to last less and less as long as it did when I got it. The device started firing up randomly, one time it fired up when the pod was empty and it fried a new coil I had. The issues weren't much of a problem at first but they started to get worse and worse until it ended up being hard to not get it to randomly fire up & the device was more or less unusable. It would be hard to leave it on charge without it hissing and firing up. Also, the LED light got less and less visible over time. Also, it went through juice extremely fast - I aren't sure whether it did that from the start or not though, but this second device does not go through juice half as fast as my first device so I'm thinking this was possibly a change too.
I just got a replacement however and I have noticed that there have been some changes that have been made. One example is that it vibrates every time it gets to a certain level of charge - the first device didn't do this. I'm thinking that Uwell possibly updated the device and addressed the issues as well as included new features. I got the device when it was really new and had just been released and the fact that new additions/features have been made may possibly mean they've also fixed the issues that the device previously had.
I will be writing another review after I have had this second replacement device a while. As for the device when it doesn't have any issues, it's a really great device and is worthy of a solid 9 or 10 stars. But with the issues it has and the fact it deteriorates, it's probably more worthy of 2 stars.
I don't know whether changes have been made to the device yet that have addressed these issues, so I'll leave 5 stars here for the device with this review as I don't know whether this device will see the same fate as my last one.
If you're thinking of upgrading from the Caliburn G or simply getting this device, then I'd say don't and wait until this device has been sorted out by Uwell. However, they may have already done this like I said and if they have, I will write a second review. So yeah, hold off on buying this device until you can verify whether Uwell have made the proper changes to the device that address all the issues it ends up having.
If this device ends up the same as my last, I'll be going back to the Caliburn G. Unfortunately I gave away my G to my friend as I was confident that the G2 was a good device, but I was wrong.
It's not uncommon for devices to have issues when they're first released to then have changes made to them after the company gets feedback, so I'm hoping that's what has happened here seeing as this G2 does certain things my last G2 didn't.

Ive been using this device for over a month now and I must say dont ever buy this ****. There are multiple reasons behind this, before all that I’m super disappointed in this device because I really loved the Uwell caliburn g(the one before this),ye it did spit sometimes but very rarely ,overall its 9/10 device for me. Reasons why Im telling you not to buy this are leaking, spitting, if you decide the change liquid in it just put a new coil and pod on it because the very first second you put another liquid in this it ***** all the flavour. I would’ve never bought this unless I didnt lose my caliburn g, but I guess thats what called learning from the mistakes, cheers.

Honestly the best Pod kit out there at the moment.
Been using the G2 for about 3 months.
Personally prefer the 0.8 coil, has great flavour and is crispy till the very end. I have used a bunch of these coils and they last a fair amount of time. Lasts around 25ml of juice before flavour starts to fade and coil begins to gurgle slightly. Maybe would have more longevity if the juice wasn't so sweet.
The button is completely recessed so is better than the A2, much less likely to fire in the pocket.
Pods sit in the device firm without magnets.
Pods have a window from front to back.
Top fill, so convenient.
The airflow on the pod is really open for a mtl but is really enjoyable, also you can dial it down to make it tighter but in my experience if you want a tighter pull just use the 1.2 coil instead of trying to fiddle with the airflow wheel.
The battery is a big improvement on the A2 lasting around another 3/4hs depending on how much you vape it. Also the battery charges really quick, took around 35min from empty with a 2A charge.
