The Uwell Crown D vape kit is a low-maintenance device that’s easy to use, making it an ideal option for those new to sub ohm vaping. Recommended for both beginner and seasoned vapers, it can deliver both a DTL (Direct To Lung) and an RDTL (Restricted Direct To Lung) style inhale. Its powerful built-in 1100mAh battery supports lengthy vaping sessions, even at the 35W maximum setting. Each kit comes with a 2ml refillable Crown D pod, along with two Uwell PA coils to get you started.
Features:
There is only one button built into the Crown D, which can be used to access all available functions. The Crown D features a number of modes, including Voltage mode and Bypass mode, so you can vape in a way that suits you. If you choose the 0.8 Ohm RDTL coil, you'll experience a moderate amount of vapour and a tighter feeling draw. Beyond that, the 0.3 Ohm DTL version is best at creating more vapour and larger clouds. There's also a wheel at the bottom of the kit that you can use to easily adjust the wattage for your ideal vape.
The snap-fit mouthpiece design of the Crown D pods means you can top up without even having to remove it from your device. Simply detatch the mouthpiece to reveal a filling port and add your preferred e-liquid. To get the most out of your kit, we recommend pairing it with either a 70% VG e-liquid or higher. Speaking of e-liquid, there's even a small window built into the pod, so you can see exactly how much is left and avoid an unpleasant dry hit.

Bought this vape in late June 2023 , battery life is good flavour is great and a nice compact pod system. Like the way you cam change coils or pods, tank is a little small but lasts 3/4 if the day vaping 0.8 coils at 15w for me. However I have just sent a warranty request after only a month or so as the device is just auto firing constantly. Auto drag has stopped working also. If it hadn't broken it would be getting 9/10 but alas....hopefully uwell sort me a new one and it doesn't fail in the same way.

Flavour wasn't great on any coil compared to the Xros 3. Battery life was decent and the screen with all the controls are nice to have.
However, it stopped working after about a month since I bought it. I was careful enough not to let any liquid drip into it and wiped the pod and the mod itself regularly. The auto-drag stopped working out of the blue and the next day it was auto firing.
I'd stay away from this one and get something else instead. I went with the Xros 3 as a replacement and it's miles better in every aspect.

I purchased this just over a week ago and I am very happy with the product.
I have had another brands vape pen for the last couple of years and needed a new one. I decided to try a new brand and kit and bought this one. The stand out feature for me is that flavour you get from it. There is a lot more flavour coming through compared to my previous £20 vape pen.
My only gripe with it is the cap. You need to remove it from the top to fill up the liquid and I have found that getting it to stay back on is a struggle. It seems to have a mind of its own and pops off. Having said that, I have ordered a replacement pod to see if it's just an issue with the one I received.
I do agree with the previous review about the tank and coil position. You need to be wary of your liquid level to not burn out the coil. I haven't done that yet but you might find yourself refilling a bit more frequently.
The pros out way the cons (just) and I am happy with the product. Would I buy it again if I needed to replace the kit. Probably.

For anyone wondering if its any good for MTL, i thought i’d bite the bullet and get one to find out, well, who am i kidding, i wanted a crown d as soon as i saw it (i got the blue one and its a nice blue, the caliburn x in blue is a little sleeker but it still pops good)
it’s actually, for me at least, very good for MTL (but thats just my opinion, using 0.8 ohm PA coil and 20mg nic salt) You almost have to close the air flow off completely if u want a tight draw, and even with that its not tighter than the caliburn x, If you dont need a tight draw though, ive tried it with the airflow open fully and half way, and it seems to be even more flavourful like this but a cooler vape.
i’ve tried a few pod kits over the last year or so, the novo 4, voopoo argus, caliburn a, a2, g2 and x, even used elf bar disposables the odd few times and back in the stone age, i used to use mods and tanks until my lungs told me NOPE. so i aint a newb.
it could just be these new coils they are using for the new crown, but the flavour production is spot on, not quite g2 standard, but very close and i’m extremely hard to please!!
It’s the design that’s won me over the most though, its tiny but fully featured, with excellent build quality, the screen is amazing for such a mini one and u need superman vision to read some of it but its bangin!
the functions are pretty good too, with a choice of 4 screen colours and different modes(i just use the power mode as i think curves mode is disabled with the 0.8 ohm coil). using voltage mode is pretty good too, very similar to power mode. it has a customise mode too, but not bothered messin about with that yet!
oh and bypass mode outputs according to the battery level or something so the draw will reduce as ur charge does i think?
i haven’t tried the DTL coil (0.3 ohm)yet,and being primarily a MTL Vaper, to reduce the clouds of vape going into my lungs, but with the 2ml tank capacity, it’s pretty pointless doing DTL with this as it would drain the juice rapidly,it does even using the 0.8 coil so i can imagine withDTL it will last a fraction of what i’m getting doing MTL, so for DTL, it’s bottles in ur pocket at all times. Why cant we just have bigger pods? this is what i miss about mods and tanks!!
My only gripe with it (and this goes for the caliburn x too) is that the coil head is so far up in the tank that you are reaching for the juice all too soon and u need to keep the juice over the whole of the coil head to prevent dry hits and burning out the coil, you have to keep the liquid at the top of the juice window, i dunno, i think its a bit of a stupid design flaw, but i can overlook it because the flavour and the throat hit are excellent.
i kind of regret getting the caliburn x, not because it isn’t a good vape, but even though the x is still pretty good, knowing the crown d was coming soon i should have just waited as the x has now been put in the pod kit graveyard, because of the crown!
for me, the crown d, even just using it for MTL, is a definite 9/10, only droppin a point because of the need to constantly keep the liquid level at the top of the liquid window, but if u can live with this, you’ll enjoy the crown d, it’s a pretty sweet podkit and now my main one. (til something else catches my eye) 😁
