The Vaporesso Gen Air 40 vape kit is a sleek and stylish device offering both sub ohm vaping and a high end appearance. The Gen Air 40 features a lightweight build and an 1800mAh built-in battery that allows for long vaping sessions. The 5 - 40W variable output gives you the option of picking a level of vapour production for a more personalised vaping experience. Also, the included 0.4 Ohm and 0.8 Ohm coils from the GTX coil range mean that you can switch between an MTL (Mouth To Lung) and DTL (Direct To Lung) inhale as you see fit.
Features:
It's activated by simply pressing the firing button that sits alongside 4 LED indicators which display battery life and power output. Thanks to its AXON chip, there’s no need to select the correct wattage, as the device sets it for you depending on what coil you’ve installed. If you prefer having more control over your kit, you can also manually set a power output by clicking the power button just once for a bespoke vape. The included 0.4 Ohm coil creates more vapour, whereas the 0.8 Ohm version delivers a bit less and feels closer to a cigatette.
Gen Air 40 pods have a capacity of 2ml and are easily filled from the side for reduced spillage. Each pod has a transparant design, so it’s easier to monitor your e-liquid levels. The adjustable airflow allows you to experience a looser or tighter draw, giving you more control over the feel of your inhale. Both coils have a mesh build, which heats e-liquid faster for an improved flavour. However, with the 0.4 Ohm coil we'd suggest an e-liquid that's 70% VG or higher, whereas the 0.8 Ohm version works best with 50% PG e-liquids or higher.

I have this pod mod kit for well over 6 months now and the battery is still holding up, I think this is amazing for sub ohm vaping with me rocking a 0.6ohm coil with 70/30 liquid on the lowest setting I think is the best out of all the combinations and thicknesses of liquids, wattage and coils as this combination allows my coils to last anywhere from 5days to just under two weeks, depending on if I dry hit accidentally or if I switch the liquids too often for the coil as some liquids crystalise on the coil and therefore burn it, id look into it as I cant remember the exact chemical / ingredient that does this but overall amazing product, makes me feel like a steam train with the clouds that come out this thing. 10/10

Firstly, the GTX coils are hit and miss with this thing. I used 2 that burnt out within a full days use. The flavour is brilliant when it's on point. But some hits taste dry and harsh and most of the time flavourless. I'll give Vaporesso the benefit of the doubt and put that down to the coils not the device.
The airflow is a nice addition, but it's so awkward to get the mtl you want as there's only a fine adjustment in it being too tight or too loose.
The battery is a big pro.
It lasts me a day and a half for the most part. Sometimes it lasts a day with heavy HEAVY usage. Additionally, it takes about 45 minutes to fully charge once you manage to drain the battery.
The 0.4 coil felt very underpowered to me, but the .8 was sublime once I got the perfect batch.
If the coils and flavour were consistent with this it could be something special. And additonally, if the juice level was easier to see without taking the pod out of the device I could easily give this a 8 or 9

Of the 6 or 7 vape kits I've owned over the years, the Gen Air 40 is my favourite & personal go to Vape. Gives excellent flavour with the hybrid salts I use, so smooth and satisfying, I find the 0.8 coils best for me. Decent battery life as up until very recently I've usually only had to charge once a day, and with over a year of constant everyday use I am only now considering buying another one to replace it as the charge isn't lasting quite as long. So my next Kit purchase will also be a Gen Air 40! Feels good in my hand, clean, simple to use & maintain, a tasty, relaxing, extremely satisfying vape. I'm very happy with this product in my pocket. 10/10

This wasn't my first choice for a new vape, but it fit my criteria of adjustable air intake (because asthma, less harsh on the throat) and removable coils, not too powerful. The price won me over though, alongside having 5 potential coils to play with as previously I'd used pens with no customisability/adj-air and these were always too harsh and choked me after prolonged use. My choices were Freemax 40, Sceptre 2 and this but they have issues I wasn't willing to work with. The Freemax resets itself. The Sceptre is noisy/the airflow is too easy to mess with.
This should have been my first choice, though. This this is absolutely ace! I couldn't be happier. This thing can bring in a lot more air than many vapes I've tried out and I can happily sit there with no issue for as long as I like. I got this with extra pods and tried out some various flavours with the two coils. I've found the 0.4 is my favourite for flavour and the hit is smooooooooooooooth. There's no leakage yet and I've had it over a week. I swap out CBD liquids and flavours in pods and there's been no concern over the locking/clasping/whatever mechanism.
Pros -
-Build quality is excellent and so sturdy, and for such a cheap little device!
-Very responsive, there's no heavy pressing needed, no worry you're pushing too hard
-Despite the pop-outability of the pods, they're super snug and I can't see looseness ever becoming a problem.
-Charges fast and for my little usage can go well over a day.
-Prettier in hand than it looks in these images. Silly maybe but that's why this was the 3rd choice.
-So cheap! Feels like there's gotta be a catch but I haven't found it yet.
-Everyone whose tried it seems impressed with how smooth it is.
-Not fussy and desperately easy to use.
Cons (so far) -
-When build up happens, the mouth hole is quite big and so can spit quite nasty specks into your mouth. Easily fixed though.
So if you're like me and read up on the promise of this one, do yourself a flavour and pick it up. You and your friends will love it.

After leaving the big chunky mods alone for a year and switching over to disposable vapes I thought it was time to ditch those and get something better. This vape is GREAT, simple, good battery life (for a small vape) and not messy at all. the basic screen means no faffing around just pick up and vape (either MTL or DTL your choice). Overall for such a light and compact vape I strongly recommend especially for how cheap it is.

Great device, light to hold, easy to use, responsive, battery life brill, using it with gtx 0.8 coil n nic salts 20mg. Excellent nicotene hit, smooth tasting juices. Smoked rollies 6yrs and transitioning to vaping. Highly recommend this simple but effective device :)
