The Vaporesso Luxe XR Max vape kit is a robust yet compact sub ohm vape, designed with portability in mind. Its 2800mAh built-in battery supports plenty of vaping before needing to be recharged and thanks to the variable 5-80W power output, you can choose a level of vapour that suits you. It also means that while the included GTX coils can support DTL (Direct To Lung) and RDTL (Restricted Direct To Lung) vaping, the kit also works with MTL (Mouth To Lung) coils from the same range.

The Luxe XR Max features a single button that’s used to activate it, so you don’t have to waste time clicking buttons and navigating complicated menus. The included 0.2 Ohm coil creates slightly more vapour than the 0.4 Ohm option, so if you like to experiment with inhale styles, keep that in mind when selecting an output level. However, it’s also equipped with an intelligent AXON chip, which automatically selects the best wattage based on what coil you’ve inserted. Beyond that, an adjustable airflow slider lets you switch between a tighter or looser inhale.
The included Luxe XR pod combines the function of a tank with the simplicity of a pod. They feature a bottom-filling design that you can easily top-up by removing them from your device. The replaceable coils mean less waste and a cheaper way of running your kit, while their mesh design improves flavour. Regardless of which coil you choose, both work best with 70% VG e-liquid or higher VG options.

Vape ECIDs and GBIDs are a registration number confirming that a nicotine-containing vape product (including the hardware used to vape them) is legally notified and approved for sale by the MHRA. An approved notification means that the product has complied with the UK regulations, which includes submitting their ingredients list, emissions reports & toxicological dossier to ensure they adhere with the UK's Tobacco and Related Products Regulations (TRPR).

Is the Luxe XR Max inhale or button activated?
(25 Apr 2024)The Vaporesso Luxe XR Max is button activated. Just hold down the firing button whilst inhaling on the mouthpiece. Then, simply release the button until you’re ready to vape again.
How do you adjust the wattage on the Luxe XR Max?
(25 Apr 2024)The Luxe XR Max features Smart Mode, which will automatically select the best wattage for your coil. But if you’d like to tailor the wattage yourself, you can adjust the power output by clicking the firing button four times to enter the menu. From there, click three times to adjust your wattage and then click once to confirm your choice.

Not Great (04 January 2026)
There are a few faults that I've found having bought this last week and vaped on it for a few days. Using a 0.2 coil.
1. You can't really see the level of the tank when you are filling it - it's just not clear enough so you end up overfilling and spilling out.
2. Even after you've filled it, there's no real way to tell if it's empty. Tipping it up to see the air-bubble level also doesn't really have any desired effect so you're left a bit clueless as to how much liquid is in it at any given time.
3. It's a hard draw, meaning you really have to suck to get a good vape. Even with the air valve fully open you still have to suck hard to get a good amount of vape, perhaps that's the coil ohmage?
4. When you first fill it you get a lot of liquid coming through into your mouth so you'll need to use a cloth of filter for the first few draws before it settles down.
5. The description and other reviews suggest this is a 'big cloud' vape, but it's really not.
Positives:
It's compact and fits nice in your hand and pocket. It doesn't leak, and the battery lasts a good length.
Would not have bought it if I had a time machine.

Can't rate these highly enough! My partner and I both smoke these all day every day and the battery life is amazing. The version with the leather-like backing feels nicer in the hand and less likely to slip out of your hand. We use the 0.8 coils with the MTL mouth-piece. Highly recommended and a great price too.

Good for MTL / DTL (27 December 2025)
Mostly ran this with 0.2 coils and it's been amazing, but recently looking at MTL setups and have nothing bad to say about it. I do see the slightest leak from the bottom fill but the tank is so big and the leak so small that I can't say too much bad about it.

I use this every day. This is my fourth mod (different colours). Great flavour. I use 0.15 coils. Give massive clouds and fantasic flavour. East to change and refill. Only con is that you have to press the button to vape and not draw activated

Bought this little beauty recently, in preparation for the disposable ban. Wasn't expecting much, to be fair. Oh how wrong I was! Currently got the 0.4 coil in the (included) DTL pod, filled with the free Berry N'ice juice 70/30 @30W. The flavour is amazing! Awesome little device .11/10.

Quality Pod Vape! (06 February 2025)
Great daily setup with plenty of options for MTL or DTL setups. Currently running two separate pods one with 0.8ohm MTL coil, then one with 0.2/0.4ohm DTL coils. These GTX coils are amazing, both setups have tons of flavour and very user friendly. The bottom fill on the pods are great and you get zero leak whatsoever. Battery lasts long considering its size, and when it comes to charging its charges a full battery in around an hour! Great touch that it tells you how long until full.
Very impressed and happy with this vape! Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a new daily MTL or DTL vape!

A solid upgrade from the GTX GO 40 (01 February 2025)
Having had a reasonably good experience from my previous Vaporesso vape I decided it was time for an upgrade, build quality feels great in the hand with its heavyweight metal construction and large battery, ignoring the silly RGB which can be turned off the screen gives you all the info you need and it automatically recognises the coils and alters the power super quickly. By far the best part is the fact you can use the GTX coils and even get tanks for the 1.2ohm coils. The vape has Lots of nice little quality-of-life additions such as time till fully charged, super smooth airflow adjustment and a better filling method.

Great device flavour is great and intense easy to use battery life is excellent and will easy last a couple of days Evan as a heavy vaper. Also super fast charging times with a time indication of how long is left. Only downside is you cannot lock the device but you can simply turn it off.

I have brought 2 of these in the last 3 months. 1st loved it, lightweight and not bulky in your pocket. Then the battery started to go, I was charging fully 2 or 3 times a day. Then coils wouldn't register even brand new out of the packet, would work for a day then would get at check and wouldn't let me vape at all. Change the coil would do the same again the next day. I checked the tank on my partners mod and worked fine. Brought a new one, worked for like 2 weeks and I dropped it onto carpet from about 1ft off the ground and now the led doesn't work but vaping does but got no clue what battery is or what wattage I'm using. Think I'm gonna have to give up and go back to my old mod and deal with the weight :(
