The SXmini Puremax pod kit is simple to use and maintain, so it’s an ideal option for beginners and experts alike. While compact, it boasts a powerful built-in 1050mAh battery, which can support up to a day’s worth of vaping and can be recharged in no time with a USB-C cable. It features a power output range of 12–25W, making it a perfect choice for MTL (Mouth To Lung) and RDTL (Restricted Direct To Lung) vaping. Each kit includes a built-in coil pod and drip tip. So, once you’ve got some e-liquid, you’re ready to vape.
Setting up your Puremax is quick and easy. Just choose from a selection of output modes to find your perfect vape. The built-in Yihi chip will recognise the resistance of your pod’s built-in coil and select the best wattage, for a consistent vape every time. Or, use Variable Wattage mode to select a power level between 12–25W for more control. There’s also Pure Mode, which stops the device from firing when there’s no e-liquid in your pod to prevent unpleasant dry-hits. To vape, simply puff on the mouthpiece.
PX pods hold up to 2ml of e-liquid and you can easily top them up via the side-filling port. Built-in coils make maintenance easy – just replace the pod when the coil inside is finished. The included 0.6 Ohm pod creates a discreet amount of vapour for an MTL inhale or slightly more for RDTL vaping, depending on your chosen power level. There are also 0.8 and 1.2 Ohm versions available separately. All PX pod options work best with 50/50 or high PG vape juice. Want to customise how loose or tight your inhale feels? Adjust the airflow with the slider in the middle of the device.

YiHi have got a winner here as with all their previous mods and devices. They have a well respected name in the community worldwide. I know they say vape a 50/50 mix but from the moment I took charge Ive vaped a 70vg/30pg and this device handles it very well, being temperature controlled it will pulse the power to control the heat to the coil. Ive vaped fruits, which I prefer, to very low 20vg/80pg (CBD) and Ive vaped it dry to see if it will shut off to not get that burnt hit! Perfect!
I ordered one to test then I bought another so I haven’t got to faff about changing pods each time for a different flavour as you need 2 to give your taste buds a change. I was sent a dud unit which Vape club promptly sent out a replacement, great service guys thank you. Battery life is awesome and will last me the whole day. I run the 0.8 coil/pod which is my preferred liking and you can vape the juice till there’s no more left and it will shut off sensing the coil is dry, and save you money in coil/pods. Ive had the same coil/pod in for over 3 weeks constantly and I’m still getting the same flavour from when I put it in initially.
Great to hold, only niggle are the pods with a slight leak at the base but a quick clean with a Q tip will clean it up, which in my opinion are the coils not holding the liquid when their coming to the end of their life?
All in all I’m very happy with these units definitely the way forward. Thank you Vape Club for you fantastic service as always!

OMG...what an absolute 💯 pod kit. Thought I would treat myself and so glad I did. The flavour is fresh and full,I'm using Bar juice 5000 in fresh mint (my go to flavour) and using 0.8 coil. Ordered spare. I really can't say how good this pod is and light to hold. It feels good.

I bought this as an easy to use, light, pocket friendly pod for when I’m out and about for a few hours or so that hopefully would have decent flavour and be leak free plus the temperature control piqued my interest as I’ve never used that.
I’m happy to say it does what I bought it for and I've no hesitation in recommending it.

I'm giving the puremax (and the pods) 9/10 for now but I received faulty pods which vapeclub are replacing. If the new pods are also faulty I will adjust my score.
My rating so far is based purely on performance from the puremax and the pods while they were/are working.
The flavour the 1.2 ohm produce is top notch and vapour production is really impressive at any of the Puremax's power levels, especially considering the fairly low wattage. The flavour from the 0.6 pod is also excellent and it produces more vapour than the 1.2, but for pure MTL vaping the 1.2 pods are perfect and the flavour is outstanding. If a liquid has multiple flavours, the puremax does a great job of making each individual flavour strong and distinct. I've had temperature control mods before and it can be a tradeoff picking a temperature when it comes to bringing out certain flavours. 1 temperature might bring out fruit flavours but mute cream flavours and vice versa. The puremax does an excellent job of varying temps to bring out all the flavours in any liquid. If thrown all sorts at it so far and there hasn't been a flavour it struggles with.
Honestly the most enjoyable vape Ive ever had and I've tried everything from the very first "cigalike" devices to 250W mods with hand made "Alien coils" etc
For the price, I can't see any other device coming close in terms of flavour etc and it's honestly hard to beat at any price point. The one thing letting it down is the leaky pods I've had so far. Hopefully the replacements and any pods SxMini produce in future will have these kinks worked out because, for me at least, the puremax is almost perfect.
Battery life has been good for my usage, I'd even say great on lowest power level. Charging is quick when I do need to charge. Up to now I'm loving it.
Note: As this is the first review here I think it's worth mentioning the power levels available on the puremax and it's related to the pods themselves... 0.6ohm pods allow 4 different power levels but the 1.2ohm pods only allow 3 power levels. I haven't tried the 0.8ohm pods yet so can't comment.
The side fill slider covering the fill port works great and I've yet to have any liquid at all leak from the fill port. However I have had some leaking issues from elsewhere on the pods which I hope will not be an issue with the replacements. If it wasnt for the leaking these pods and the puremax could be a 10/10. If the replacement pods also leak then my rating will be 8 or lower until the issues are ironed out with pods produced in future.
TLDR: great little device, great pods. Awesome flavour and vapour production. Flavour/freshness+longevity seems good so far. Possible issues with leaking in early batches of replacement pods.
The included 0.6 pod hasn't leaked or hasn't leaked as badly as the 1.2s, but it does suffer from condensation under the pod which needs cleaning/drying periodically.
