The DotMod DotStick vape kit is an elegant and simple to use kit that’s recommended for intermediate and advanced vapers. Powered by either a 18650 or 18350 vape battery (sold separately) it features single button operation and power auto-select mode. Capable of delivering an output that supports both mouth to lung and direct to lung vaping it fits the style of most vapers. Each kit comes complete with the specially designed 2ml DotTank and two coils which give you the option of using either high VG or high PG e-liquid.

This is a kit ideal for use on the go, it's compact and whichever battery you pick you'l experience up to a full day of vaping. Despite its luxury feel, this kit is very beginner-friendly and set-up is greatly reduced thanks to the combination of single button operation and power auto-select. This means not only will you never have to contend with tricky menu systems, but the kit will also select the correct power level every time. Vaping is now as simple as clicking a button with the DotStick.
The DotTank is the ideal accompaniment to this kit, it features an attention to detail that allows it to be effectively used by any vaper - regardless of their skill level. A specially designed spring-loaded filling port features on the base of the tank, so it's quick to refill with up to 2ml of your favourite e-liquid. The adjustable airflow gives you control over the flow of vapour for a tighter or looser draw.
When it comes to coils, you can rely on the DotStick OCC variants. Each kit comes with a version that supports direct to lung vaping (0.4 Ohm DotStick coil) and one which allows for discreet vapour production and mouth to lung vaping (0.7 Ohm DotStick coil). Replacement DotStick coils are readily available and as an added bonus this tank is compatible with the entire Smok Nord coil range.
Please note: The Limited Edition purple DotMod DotStick features a built-in 1650mAh battery and can not be used with removable batteries. Featuring a waterproof build, this kit has three power settings and comes complete with a 0.4 Ohm and 0.7 DotStick coil.

Important information about sub ohm vaping:
This device is intended for sub ohm vaping. Sub ohm vape kits require a greater amount of knowledge and experience to use safely. They use specially designed coils that register below 1.0 Ohm resistance, for use at higher wattages. These kits will also feature advanced modes that require a knowledge of vaping to be used correctly.
We recommend that when sub ohm vaping, you do not use an e-liquid that has higher than a 6mg nicotine strength, this will be too harsh on the throat. Sub ohm vaping produces more vapour and because of this, an increased throat hit. You should use kits like this with a medium to high VG e-liquid, that is 50% VG or higher.

The DotMod DotStick has a bottom fill design. The fill port is located at the bottom of the tank alongside the coil slot. To fill up the tank, simply unscrew the tank from the battery, turn the tank upside down to reveal the base and connection pin. Hold onto the glass, twist anticlockwise for a quarter turn. This will release the base to expose the coil and filler port. Push the bottle nib into the filler port and squeeze gently until full.

Positives:
Aesthetics - Firstly the look of this device is great. I went for the black kit and when I ordered I was hesitant of the black and gold as typically I’m not a fan of gold. However, in the flesh the vape looks great and I’ve had a lot of people comment how nice it looks.
Batteries - The ability to change batteries is a cool feature and I can see the attraction of reducing the vapes size but honestly I’ve never felt the need to as the size with a 18650 battery is perfect in my opinion. But it’s nice to have that option available.
The battery life is great, I use my vape all day and it tends to last me 2 days comfortably (18650 battery).
Replacing the coils - I also really like how you can change the coil without having to drain the liquid - because as everyone knows the coil always goes when you’re in a rush somewhere!
The negatives:
Coils - Oh the coils… I just can’t seem to really be able to get on with any apart from the 0.4ohm. The SMOK coils which are compatible seem to not give a good throat hit at all and the coils burn out very quickly. The flavour I’ve found from coils above 0.4 ohm just seems… poor?
Leaks - This vape uses a self sealing fill port which boasts “greatly reduces the chance of leakage” however there has been multiple occasions I’ve noticed a leak. I wouldn’t say I’ve noticed less leaks from this vape compared to my previous Innokin Z80.
Tank cleaning - I have noticed that there are parts of the tank which is IMPOSSIBLE to clean. So now it has stains and almost a burnt looking colour on the bottom of the tank which is incredibly annoying.
Price - Personally I think the vape is overpriced for what it is. Sure it’s a good vape but £50 just seems a bit much to me personally for what you get. Also the coils and replacement tanks are very expensive. Definitely worth considering when thinking about buying.
Overall would I recommend buying this vape? Yeah I suppose... It’s a good vape that’ll do everything you need it to do but there are drawbacks to it. I’m confident you can get better vapes on the market for the same price, maybe slightly less.

Cracking little mod. Stylish and simple to use. Nice engraving on the fire button and bottom cap,threads are smooth,feels good in the hand. Option for two battery sizes is a nice feature and this mod is so well made you can barely see the join from the extension tube. DotMod have always produced good devices and this is no exception.
Will be investing in their RTA to pair up with this mod.

This is a fantastic sub ohm device from DotMod. The design is sleek and looks awesome, and it vapes like a dream. The coils are brilliant, and the device is easy to use. Some people don't like the under tank eJuice feed, but I think it's the best system I've ever seen, its practically impossible to leak. Nice big thick cloud production and the flavors it get's out of juices are amazing. I'll be ordering another one of these soon!

The design on this kit is sleek, elegant and features traditional Dotmod colours. I’m a fan of the dual battery option and the available caps to prevent any kind of rattle when interchanging in between. The airflow on the tank is spectacular compromising a great ratio of heat and air throughout inhalation. I use the 1.0 ohm coil for a true mouth to lung sensation with Just Juice nic salts. Forever a fan of Dotmod, their designs and kit innovation.

its performing well at the moment the device fires nice the tank is easy to fill even though its a bottom fill but just push down on the nozzle and it will open up to the juice the battery indicator is blue green red not in that order lets you know what power you have left by color the coils are plug and play i will say i have had one coil that was still fine to vape after 4 days that just would not fire anymore in the tank so had to replace with new one for no reason but worked fine after that good options for the battery with 2 options a small one that shrinks the device to baby size and then a normal battery it is kind of cool to save on space there is a by pass mode you know your in this by the white light after 3 clicks to change your battery level by color so there is that for people i like this device it feels and looks well made and last is the air flow is pretty nice to use
