The Innokin Ares is a 24mm RTA (Rebuildable Tank Atomiser). It combines the efficiency of a tank with its 2ml capacity; with the increased flavour and cloud production that you experience with rebuildable atomisers. This RTA is intended for advanced users only.
The Stainless Steel construction makes the Ares durable and hardwearing, while the 24mm diameter means it sits flush on a range of vape mods. The sliding top fill mechanism allows you to quickly refill your tank, even when you're away from home.
The single coil deck allows you to quickly install your rebuildable coil into the Ares. The width of the deck and the size of the posts themselves a number of coils are compatible with this RTA including premade coils. Compatible with a range of eliquids, the Ares can support high VG and high PG eliquids depending on what type of coil you install.
As it only fits only single coils the Ares performs best as a mouth to lung vape. the slim chimney creates a concentrated flow of vapour which in turn increases flavour. Adjustable bottom airflow allows for full control over your inhale for a restricted draw or a looser one. The 510 drip tip is slim and tall and helps to create a cooler vape.
Important information about Rebuildable Tank Atomisers:
Rebuildable atomisers are recommended only for experienced users. You should have the knowledge and access to the equipment that is required to set up this atomiser properly.
Before building coils or using an RTA you should have a thorough knowledge of battery safety, Ohm's Law and vaping in general.
Before fitting a coil onto your rebuildable atomiser ensure it is in a safe condition and registering the correct Ohmage, this testing and checking can be achieved by using a dedicated Ohmmeter. Coils should not be tested on vape devices.

I've had no issues with it leaking.
My main issue with this RDA is that liquid does not wick easily to the coil.
I've tried a few different builds and types of cotton and they all yeald the same result.
Airflow is fairly poor. You won't be able to do direct lung hits as easily.

As I was looking for reviews of the tank I have come across some pretty heated discussion, through youtube reviewers and e-cig forums, and such varied opinions, it appears to be a bit of a controversial tank!! Personally I like it...but not at first... The price point is unarguably good value for money, and I was attracted to the design as being easy for a first time rta, which is the case for me. The main gripe of reviewers appears to be the muted flavour due to the showerhead diffuser (you can remove this btw).. With the provided 1ohm (ish) spaced 26g Kanthal I got no flavour whatsoever, and was ready to bin it... However the tank and accessories enable you to make your own coils, and I found that a 0.8 coil with the provided wire, with closer spacing gave better flavour, supposedly you can increase the flavour with ss316 wire and temp control which I will try next. Wicking is easy, I've never previously used an rta and each build has worked just fine, with 50/50 and 70/30 (vg/pg). Leaks; the slide cap leaked when I filled the tank to the brim, solved by not filling as much, but I don't keep tanks in my pocket so no big deal... Did get a bit of leakage under the airflow adjuster, that was because the glass/o rings weren't seated properly. The actual vape and throat hit is really good, but as I said I've only tried this one mtl rta. Will probably get something higher quality/better rated flavour at a later date. Looks good in all black with the smoked glass though :)

This is my first rta, and first mtl rebuildable. I wanted it for work, so I don't have to drip, and can get a nice throat it. I'm massively impressive. Even with my inferior build this functions great, the flavour is good, it's very smooth, and it's incredibly easy to build on. I haven't had any leakage. Lots of goodies come in the box too. Great little tank.
Having read the reviews, I can confirm that it does NOT leak, yes please make sure that the top does not slide in your pocket. I
have had my ares coming up to a year now and it is AMAZING. Definitely worth the money spent on this!

I’ve read the comments on leaks... the tank doesn’t leak however if you do put it in your pocket be careful that you don’t accidentally push the slide top open. Apart from that it’s the best take Ive used for MTL vaping!

Just constantly leaks. Decent enough flavour. Easy to build on but just leaks all the time. God knows how much e-juice I’ve lost since using this but it’s a lot

Was super excited when i saw how well this thing was built etc. however it could possibly be just my one, but once you start using it there is always residue build up on the slide opening that leaks out this then builds up in the air flow as well and you basically walk around smelling of what ever ejuice your running as it soaks your pockets. Never enough leaks for you to see it(unless you slide the lid back) but enough that if you put it in your pocket you will smell it a short while later. such a shame.
