The Uwell Crown 5 vape tank is a sub ohm option for those that prefer larger amounts of e-liquid. Featuring a 2ml e-liquid capacity, the Crown 5 features self-cleaning technology as well as an innovative top fill process courtesy of a quarter-turn cap design. Customisation wise, users can fine-tune their inhale with a sleek bottom adjustable airflow, whilst the tank is compatible with a range of Crown 5 coils. A 510 connection point allows this vape tank to be paired with the majority of vape mods.
Features:
Adhering to the high quality engineering of previous Crown tank iterations, the Crown 5 combines top performance with style. The self-cleaning technology reduces the chance of leakage whilst also decreasing maintenance suitably. To refill, simply twist the top cap a quarter of the way and unplug the silicone check valve before filling with an e-liquid of your choice and securing back in. The bottom adjustable airflow can be utilised for a loose inhale or a slightly more restricted draw, whatever the preference. A single mesh 0.23 Ohm coil and a dual mesh 0.3 Ohm coil are both included, with these coils performing best with 60% VG e-liquids and higher.

Important information about sub ohm vaping:
This vape tank is intended for sub ohm vaping. Sub ohm tanks require a greater amount of knowledge and experience to use safely. They use specially designed coils that register below 1.0 Ohm resistance, for use at higher wattages.
We recommend that when sub ohm vaping, you do not use an e-liquid that has higher than a 6mg nicotine strength, this will be too harsh on the throat. Sub ohm vaping produces more vapour and because of this, an increased throat hit. You should pair tanks like this with a high VG e-liquid, that is 60% VG or higher.

Not a bad tank, hits well with big clouds on the 0.3 dual coil, difficult to get the glass off for cleaning the first time but after that comes nice and easy, locking cap takes a bit of getting used to aswell.

It’s a neat little tank that’s quite well made but the lid seems a bit flimsy. The child proof thing is a waste of time but not difficult to get used to.
I tried the 0.3 coil with a dessert flavour and it has a clearer taste than the Geekvape 0.4 Z coils I’m used to. At this ohms/wattage the cloud isn’t greatly different.
I’m afraid I have put it in the cupboard as it leaked every time I filled it, fortunately I put it in a small container as it lost the remaining juice overnight. I closed the airflow and as far as I can tell did everything correctly. I thought it seemed like filling more that 3/4 caused it to leak but with a low fill it leaked after a couple of puffs rather than immediately. Will have to check o-rings but so far haven’t bothered fiddling with it.

this tank has great aesthetics and coils to make for a sturdy tank with great flavour and minimal leaking. the only one problem I have is quite subjective and it's that the top of the tank, that you remove to fill, moves around and up and down which can feel awkward while you vape.
mostly a good tank, though.

After my last tank went pop with my mod (Nunchaku), I was left in a bit of a pickle with 2 days left of the year. Had a Crown 4 before but this tops it in every way. Great flavour production, lovely clouds and doesn’t leak, just close the airflow to create a vacuum. Top Job VC.

Others have said that this is a bad tank, but for me, this is my everyday tank. Yes, I have had a slight amount of leakage, but it is literally just enough, that I have wiped the tank over with a vape cloth once a day.
The flavour is brilliant using the triple mesh coils. I have this mounted on an aegis max with a 21700 fitted, and it's a perfect match.
My tip would be to use an old glasses case with a vape cloth and a long thin 30ml fill bottle of juice, and carry that as your vape utility case.

This is hands down the worst tank I have ever used. I shouldn't have believed the hype. As stated by another reviewer, it is a nightmare to fill, eliquid floods the coil, then pours out through the vents. The child proof top cap is just design faff which is unecessary and an anoyance. Avoid.

this has to be the absolute worst tank I've ever had it does nothing but leak even when followed instructions to the letter.
liquid just constantly dribbles out of the air vents, you leave it sitting for an hour or so, and it's sitting in a puddle of liquid that use to be in the tank, and the tank is now empty
have tried new coil/seals but still just the same
the filling hole at the top is covered with a rubber seal this buckles and bulges within few fills and then the top does not sit on properly and leaks
the top is very difficult to use has a strange spinning design and on several occasions would not undo and had to resort to using plumbing grips to gain the neccecery leverage
just bitterly disappointed I spent a long time researching a new tank after leaking issues with my last this came highly recommended/reviewed but safe to say it dose not live up to these

Decent tank, pretty similar to the crown IV in terms of performance but I do find the silicon piece around the filling hole helps a lot and the cool changes are a lot less messy. Would recommend.

I have to agree with another reviewer who also had problems with the top filler gasket. I bought 2 of these tanks as thought the first one had some design flaw, but I was wrong, all filler gaskets would eventually come out of the channel and become mangled. So left with 2 tanks I cannot use. I also found Uwell unhelpful. When I was able to use, the flavour and clouds were awesome and found myself loving the 0.3 coil at 55w

Bangning tank...flava is the best out there for a sub ohm. However....the coils dont last that long, the 0.3 lasted 5 days, and im only on the 3rd day on 0.23 and getting burnt/dry hit anything above 60watts!!! Im hoping these coils are dud ones otherwise this tank deserves 10 stars!!!

Pros first, best looking tank I've seen, flavour production is absolutely amazing
Cons you have to fill it very slowly otherwise the juice just comes back through the fill hole, also find it difficult to fill it completely as there is an air bubble at the top which won't go so having to fill frequently

Terrible tank!
The fill seal around the fill hole is not fit for purpose. First one that was factory fitted lasted for 2 days. Fitted the extra one in the box and that lasted for 3 days before becoming bloated and swelling so it came out of it's channel and the tank refused to seal, meaning it leaked everywhere. Uwell were not helpful. Currently on the site looking for a different tank. A shame because when it worked, it was a nice tank.

So after signing up to an email alert I literally ordered it within minutes of this tank coming into stock and recieved it the next day on free delivery, so great job VC. I have been a big fan of the crown tanks for years (apart from the crown 2) and the reviews online have been generally favourable so it was a no brainer.
I was vaping on the nunchaku 2 which is a great bit of kit but I've now put the crown 5 on my brand new lost vape grus mod and im afraid to say but I'm not likely to pick my nunchaku back up again anytime soon. Straight out of the box this tank is an explosion of flavor, great clouds and completely worth the wait can't wait to try the other coils supplied. Highly recommend.
