With a varied background spanning market research to the music industry, Dan initially came on board in early 2013 to assist Vlad and Charles with marketing, SEO and the day-to-day running of several joint ventures.
A 30-a-day smoker at the time, one of these ventures really piqued his interest – namely, Vape Club. After thoroughly exploring the science behind these innovative new products he quickly became fascinated by the harm reduction potential of vaping and successfully embarked on his own quitting journey. It wasn’t long before the two founders invited Dan to become a joint owner, and he jumped at the chance.
Knowing the nature of the products, Dan set out to create a world-leading customer service department to ensure that anyone, customer or not, would receive the information they needed from a friendly, knowledgeable source. Dan quickly became a real vaping evangelist and industry advocate and was a founding member of the UK’s leading vape industry trade association, the UKVIA. Championing science and battling mistruths in the press, he is a regular media spokesperson and has been invited to speak at numerous industry conferences and forums. He has become so prolific in the vape industry that he is often invited to attend parliamentary meetings around vaping and regulation. He just wishes they’d listen to him more!
