About The Job
Due to significant and increased growth across the last 12 months, Vape Club is looking to recruit additional Goods in Operatives. We are looking for someone who:
- Has good counting and mathematical skills.
- The ability to lift heavy boxes and move heavy trolleys.
- Has an understanding of computer systems.
- The ability to report and mark problems.
- Ability to multitask.
- Have good communication skills.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team where required.
- Previous warehouse or goods in experience desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Receiving goods from couriers.
- Counting deliveries that enter building and filling out the relevant paperwork clearly and accurately.
- Sorting locations of stock ready for replenishment.
- Spotting and reporting mistakes on deliveries.
- Uploading information to the back end system.
- Processing paperwork and adjusting numbers were needed.
- Communicating with managers and the purchasing department.
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy with the use of heavy machinery equipment where necessary.
The above is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Shift Patterns
- 9:00 AM - 17:30 PM Monday to Friday
Salary
- £26,497 per annum
