Arriving on the market with fresh flavours and a design that emphasises discretion, the Veev Now disposables offer a different take on the single-use vape. A higher-end range of devices, retailing at £5.99 each (3 for £15), I was interested to see exactly why these vapes are considered a cut above the rest.
I’ll be leaving no stone unturned in this review, and as a vaper who has been trying single-use devices since way back in 2016 (who else remembers the humble cigalike?), I’m going to rate this range on how they vape, taste and how long they last. So, let’s jump straight in.

Every VEEV Now box includes the following:
Ideal for new starters and working equally well as back-ups/more portable options for seasoned vapers, the VEEV Now vapes are a versatile option. So, if you’re looking for clear flavour, a smooth throat and zero maintenance, then they’re ideal. Inhale activated, they produce a small amount of vapour for MTL (Mouth To Lung) vaping, so if you’re looking for something that feels more like a cigarette or just fancy a discreet vape, you’re covered.
Standing out from the crowd with a stripped-back design, the brushed chrome/black body of each device is topped with a small coloured mouthpiece to indicate flavour. This pop of colour is greatly appreciated but doesn’t distract from the mature design of the device – it's more of a whisper than a shout. Light, pocket-friendly and toting a “duckbill” mouthpiece it’s just as comfortable to carry as it is to vape.
Delivering a smooth throat hit, the VEEV Now vapes use nic salts. A lot of vapers, myself included, reckon that salt nic allows you to focus more on your vape’s flavour, as they’re that much smoother. When it comes to taste, VEEV has a lot to offer and focuses on staple blends that have proven popular with vapers for years, alongside some unique takes on classic blends. You can find a full flavour rundown in our best VEEV flavours guide. But, for now, here are three of my favourites:
Let’s get things started with something a little bit different. The vaping world is full of menthol blends and while there’s a lot to love about the cool, sweet notes they provide, you’re sometimes left wanting a little more. Enter Blue Mint. It fuses a light layer of vanilla cream with the cool, floral notes of mint, delivering a layered taste that never strays into being too sweet. It doesn’t get much more balanced than this.
Tobacco vapes get a bad rap in certain circles; defy convention and give this next one a try. The golden flavour of Virginia-style tobacco offers a warm greeting on inhale, and as you draw on this vape, you’ll experience the depth that’s only found in these kinds of blends. Honey-like notes and a smoky undertone make up the exhale for a more authentic flavour. I don’t need to say anything more.

Disposables have caught a lot of attention in the press on the topic of “recyclability” and no matter where you sit on the debate, you’re probably wondering about your vape’s eco credentials. Well, wonder no further, VEEV has come up with their very own solution. Check out VEEV’s recycling strategy and find out how simple it is to send back your old vapes for free and get them recycled.
That’s enough out of me for now, it’s about time you heard from my fellow experts. I presented them with the goods on Tuesday and when I knocked on the door the following week they all looked very ashamed – they’d finished the lot. So, hopefully, they have some real insight into this range. Or else…
I’m not knocking disposables, but I’m not a huge fan of the super-vibrant, neon devices we see a lot of. The VEEV Now is a welcome break. Understated colourways aside it’s got a nice feel and a tight draw. Vapour production is kept low and is consistent so you don’t ever experience an “empty inhale” or spend ages waiting for it to power up. All in all, I’m quite impressed. Here’s a little pro tip: keep hold of the rubber mouthpiece cover, it’s perfect for keeping the airflow clean when the device is in your pocket.
There I was prepared for another round of blue raspberry and lemon lime, when VEEV pulled the old “bait and switch” and presented me with some really unique flavours. Have to agree with Josh here and give a special mention to Blue Mint, sweet, creamy and cool it ticks all my boxes. With 8 further flavours to sample, I felt spoilt but not overwhelmed as VEEV has kept the selection tight and I didn’t feel I was missing anything.
You’ve heard what the experts and I reckon, but, to recap, the VEEV Now disposables are perfect if you need something light, simple and altogether discreet. Their only limitation lies in the fact that, like all disposables, they’re a more expensive option. Not being able to refill or recharge your vape is a bit of a double-edged sword. Yes, it keeps things very easy but, at the same time, you’ll have to replace it as soon as it’s empty and if you don’t have a spare this can be pretty inconvenient.
This shouldn’t subtract from the range’s positives though. When compared to other disposables, the VEEV Now vapes stand up against the big names in terms of performance and flavour.
Although disposables can seem pretty simple on the surface, we get a lot of questions relating to flavour, performance and even how they feel when they’re vaped. Here’s our roundup of the top VEEV Now questions and our expert answers.
The VEEV vapes feature a 20mg/ml nicotine strength. They use nic salts rather than traditional freebase so you can expect a smooth throat hit. Salt nicotine is also absorbed by the body quickly to satisfy cravings faster.
VEEV Now vapes are built to a high standard and are fully compliant with TPD regulations. The only difference between them and classic refillable vapes is that they arrive prefilled and precharged.
Boasting a slightly higher price than some disposables, you can pick up the Now disposables for £5.99 each. If you’re looking to stock up, make sure you take advantage of our 3 for £15 multi-buy.
Delivering up to 500 puffs each, the VEEV vapes will outlast 20 cigarettes each. You’ll know it’s starting to run out when vapour production drops and when it’s finished the LED on the bottom will keep flashing every time you try to take a puff.
Visit VEEV’s recycling page to find out how easy it is to send your VEEV back for recycling. If you’re out and about and your vape runs out of liquid, try and dispose of it in a battery recycling bin. You can find them in shops, supermarkets and at recycling centres.
