The Vaporesso Gen vape device has been designed for sub ohm vaping. Powered by dual 18650 vape batteries (sold separately) it is capable of a 220W max output, which is enough power to support the majority of vape tanks and rebuildable atomisers available on the market. An intelligent chipset will give users access to multiple output modes, so you can tailor the device's performance. Though the high power output makes it ideal for DTL (Direct To Lung) vaping, it can be used at a lower output for MTL (Mouth To Lung) vaping.

The newly developed user interface is easy to navigate even for newer vapers and will be immediately recognisable to experienced ones. You can quickly set up the device and there’s a wide range of modes on offer. You can use Variable Wattage to directly set a power output between for your perfect balance of vapour production. The Temperature Control mode gives you the opportunity to set a max temperature, this stops coils from burning out prematurely.
The more advanced modes really set this device apart, when your battery begins to run low you will be given the option to switch to Power ECO mode, the Gen device will automatically switch to a power-saving mode, that still retains performance. The Pulse mode will deliver increased flavour and cloud by firing every 0.002 seconds while the activation button is pushed - resulting in a more consistent vape.
Overall, whether you're looking to experience sub ohm vaping at high wattages - for bigger clouds, or mouth to lung vaping with a kit that has a long battery life, the Vaporesso Gen vape device is one to consider.

This device is intended for sub ohm vaping. Sub ohm vape kits require a greater amount of knowledge and experience to use safely. They use specially designed coils that register below 1.0 Ohm resistance, for use at higher wattages. These kits will also feature advanced modes that require a knowledge of vaping to be used correctly.
We recommend you do not use an e-liquid that has higher than a 6mg nicotine strength, this will be too harsh on the throat. Sub ohm vaping produces more vapour and because of this, an increased throat hit. High VG e-liquids will allow you to experience greater vapour production when used with this kit.

Bought several months ago. Great mod and couldn't fault until a couple of days ago. Fire button stopped working and will not click when pressed. The button has become sponge like and now difficult to swith on and off. Search the Web and found out other people having same problems with the buttons. I am so disappointed and will have to purchase another mod but not the vaporesso.

At the time of writing, mine is just a couple of months shy of being 2 years old and it's still going strong and working as well as the day I received it (now watch as that statement proves to be the kiss of death :D ) It does everything I need it to, does it simply and effectively and is, in fact, capable of much more. It's lasted longer than any previous mod I've owned and it'll be a new one of the same that I replace it with when the time comes. I have no hesitation in recommending it!

All in, this is a great little mod. Fits nicely in the hand, light in the pocket. The dimpled surface helps to hold it securely. It's got an easy to use magnetic battery cover: other mods I've used have spring and latch systems that are often fiddly to close. Despite just lifting off, it holds in place well.
The 'smart vw' system does a good job at adjusting the wattage to the minimum your coils will work at. I often turn it up a few watts for added flavour, but it gets pretty close to the perfect setting.
The only big issue I have with it is accessibility. If you have anything less than perfect vision (I occasionally wear glasses for very small type), there'll be moments when it is hard to use. Both involve pretty basic design errors.
The positive and negative marks are moulded into the black plastic of the battery tray. Without exactly the right angle of light falling on them, they're unreadable.
The LCD display, while small, is on the whole well designed. It's a slightly funny choice to lay it out along the length of the case (so it's sideways when holding the mod), but understandable given the size.
The big mistake is in how the battery charge percentage is shown. The percentage is shown using single pixel black (well, unlit) type against the background of a white battery image. While the same size white-on-black type used for other metrics is easy for me to read, the faint glow of the battery image makes this impossible for me to see. Scrapping the battery image and using the same white-on-black type would make it much clearer. Hopefully they can fix this with a firmware update.

This mod... It's just amazing.
The 'pulse' feature is by far and away the greatest feature I've ever come across on a box mod. The ability to run my Freemax Mesh Pro with all the flavour in the world is irreplaceable and it's all thanks to the Gen. It's a phenomenal mod, uses batteries well, and feels unbelievable in the hand.
Every time I go to buy a new mod I find myself scrolling to look for anything comparably good as this. Only thing I have a con about is the button... Please Vaporesso, give us the option to black it out.
Couldn't love it more, though!

This is a very light mod, even with batteries inside of it. Despite this, as everyone has mentioned in every review ever, it doesn't feel cheap even though it's so light. On top of that the coating used gives it a nice and smooth feel in the hand while the bumps make it grippy af. As another plus, at least for me, when I took it out of the box it had the same smell as the old phones (pre smartphone era) did when they were brand new out of the box.
Battery life with a couple of VTC6 is okayish. It lasts for almost a full day while chain vaping @50W in pulse mode while eco mode seems to give me ~20% more battery life. But your mileage might vary. Charging is somewhat fast. Using a Samsung 2A fast charger the batteries charge in about 2h.

Honestly, this is the best mod I've had, it's a perfect weight. It really doesn't feel like a dual 18650 mod, all dual mods I've had have been super heavy.
The material is great and feels like how a premium mod should feel like.
I love the pulse mode, it fires instantly. I'd highly recommend one.

I purchased this mod on a whim after using the vaporesso cascade tank for around a year & half, decided to upgrade from smoke and haven’t looked back. Comfortable fit in your hand, the axon chip makes it easy to figure out what wattage to fire at for different coils, been using a dovplo blotto tank with this and found it produces strong clouds but now upgraded to the Zeus X mesh, the settings are easy to navigate even if it’s a completely different style of box mod

Excellent mod, really nice materials give it a good in hand feel, all metal construction with rubber like cover give good grip. Loads of menus and customisation. The screen is simple but for me, means less likely to break! Good battery life. Good clouds and flavour too. Can't say a bad thing about it at this price point

I've been on pod systems for a while now and was looking to get back into a more robust mod that had some style to it. This thing ticked both of those boxes and I'm very happy with the purchase. As others have mentioned, a fire button lock would be nice but otherwise can't see any cons at the moment. Overall very happy with the mod and vapeclubs fantastic service!

If you want a mod to last less than 2 months then look no further! i purchased this on 2nd April and the buttons have stopped working for no reason. For the price im expecting a long lasting product, at least a year. Avoid this at all costs, spend a few extra pounds and get reputable mod.

Cracking mod for the price and i do seem to get more flavor in the pulse mode
I would have preferred it to have a lock for the fire button but the power can be locked so you dont accidentally put it right up and burn the coil
