The Smok Novo Replacement Pods have been designed for use with the Smok Novo Kit only.
There are four versions of this pod available, all of which feature a 2ml capacity and are refillable. Each pod uses a different type of coil to support different vaping styles, all of them provide a mouth to lung inhale.
The 1.2 Ohm or 1.5 Ohm pods use a standard Kanthal coil that offers users a balance between flavour and cloud production.
The 1.4 Ohm ceramic coils have a longer lifespan and heat up faster, even at lower wattages.
The 0.8 Ohm version uses mesh coils that have a large surface area, enabling you to heat more eliquid at a faster rate, for a boost in flavour.
For best results, we recommend pairing these pods with high PG eliquids, that are 50% PG or higher. You can also use salt nicotine eliquids with these pods.

I've written a similar review regarding the 1.0 ohm pods. Preferring DTL for larger hits the lower ohm pods are really the only option to go for. So 1.0 and 0.8. Since the Novo 1 pods are cross compatible I thought I'd try them. I tried the 1.4ohm MTL pods though the hits were small and I got a lot of spluttering.
My main problem with the 1.0ohm pods is even though they produce decent vapour for a small device. I never seem to get the longevity, likely due to having a penchant for sweeter juices.
The 0.8ohm coils work alot better with sweeter juices, seem to last longer though seem to have a design flaw in terms of wicking juice. Unlike the 1.0 ohm coil designed for the Novo 2, which has 2 large wicking holes to the cotton. The 0.8ohm coils has a cross directional 4 hole wicking system and the holes are smaller.
I feel like I really have to baby the coils to get them to vape right. Longer time to let the juice wick. Plugging the air hole and sucking air into the cotton. An even then I can sometimes initially get dry hits which can instantly ruin a coil.
I'm still a fan of the 0.8ohm coils because of the longevity aspect. Though I just wish they were easier to prime.
Hopefully smok brings out more updated coils like they have done when bringing out the Novo 2.

These pods are surprisingly really good, the price is great and the flavour is spot on
I have tried all types of pod now for a novo system, overall my favourite coil was the mesh one as it is a smoother taste and the pod seemed to last longer
I tried the new pods and was definitely impressed with their overall performance. Seems to be more flavour and more airflow than in the older versions
